We stayed for 3 days at Pawapi Resort in late march 2014. I'll start with the negative : the only concern we had is that we didn't stay longer than 3 days. That being said, Pawapi is definitely the best resort we stayed at during our trip. Bungalows are built on piles and are nicely decorated, fully equiped with mosquito... More

Though we were actually staying nearby we had one of the best and most romantic dinners of our holiday at Pawapi's restaurant. We were the only people at the restaurant but were made very welcome by the waiter. He moved our table out on to the sands and brought a candle. We were then served a delicious meal at a... More

We stayed at Pawapi for 4 nights a couple of weeks ago, travelling with two teenagers. Upon arrival we were met from the boat by the staff who carried our bags for us, and swiftly checked us in. We stayed in '8' which is a family room. We had a large kingsize bed on the upper floor, and twin beds... More

best service , the food is not expensive , clean room but have less the carper for the sand. The bungalo is near the beach . You can see the sun rise from your window. Have no electric plug. I like the balcony . It's comfortable and wide.

Due to a misunderstanding our booking was wrong. They refused to be fair despite being fully booked and they were not left with empty rooms. My credit card was charged 6500 baht. Greedy and not very nice attitude. Warning!

I see a few low ratings for this place and I guess it all depends on what sort of person you are and how fussy you are about a couple of things. I'll try be neutral and let the reader make up their mind. The best thing about this place is we were literally right on the beach. Such a... More

The Pawapi bungaloo was close from the beach (100m) which is really nice. It was a duplex with aircon at bottom floor and fan at top floor. Design was nice with wood and bamboo. No wifi though. However, the guy who did the electrics and plumbing must be a tuktuk driver cause it wasn't his job. It´s a half-witted job.... More

Clearly you either love this place or not and we love it. We returned in January this year even though last year we thought the service was poor and thankfully the new management team have improved things considerably. A grateful thanks to Nun who could not have been more helpful when we needed to re-arrange flights. The rooms are basic... More

It seems that your stay with us totally not what we strive to be, which is simple charming accommodation and friendly service on a beautiful beach. We apologies for that. We have now replaced our management team including the General Manager. In the service sector it is often the way with hotels that they pay 'lip service' to the complaints... More

We booked 4 nights at Pawapi Resort with my wife and two young children. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pawapi resort is Thai style beach houses, over looking 180 degrees of sparkling Andaman beauty. Directly on the beach,no obstruction of view.Located on the unique position,(sheltered) sandy peninsular.Close to the Emerald Cave, and the fishermen's village, set along 350 meters of white sand beach.Pawapi is on the quieter side of the island where the style is laid back and the flavor is definitely local. The resort is set among a blend of cultivated sea-front gardens, wild flowers, coconut palms, cashew nut and mango trees and two glorious 100 year old tamarind trees. The feel is very much well-maintained but has ‘natural’ and ‘rustic’ as the underlying theme.Calm-perfect for swimming and safe for children. Four meters wide balconies with a two meter elevation, perfect for catching the cool breeze. A unique blend of charm and style that will make your vacation to Thailand unforgettable. ... more   less
