This is the best place to stay if you plan on trekking the volcanos. The rooms are simple, clean and private. The menu is also simple as well. Due to it's location away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, this is not a party town. Simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings, cooler temperature and the incredibly healing volcanic... Terrible place, as well the hotel, the village, as the people! We didn't believe the bad reviews about Toya Bungkah; we thought it would not be that bad, used to backpacker trips... But it is! The only positive about this hotel is that you only sleep for few hours before the night climb starts. And the very nice swimmingpool. We... More

We arrived at Arilnas thanks to a friend that knows the owner, unfortunatly they were completly booked so we stayed at a room next door (from the same owner), thankfully the rate also included the hotsprings and swiming pool, wich are amazing. The owner and the staff are very friendly and kind.

We stayed with them 2 days. Payed 20$ and it was one of the best deals in Bali. Breakfast was really basic but tasty, staff really friendly delivering food and beverages to your room or swimming pool. Oh and yeah SWIMMING POOLS were a high light of this trip. Five swimming pools filled with hot, natural spring water. After a... More

Stayed in this place for 1 night. very simple room with no water heater for shower, this place is cold thus I was shivering during my bath. However, there is a hot spring pool at the back of the hotel. The breakfast was simple. Overall, it's worth the money. Friendly staff. Choose to stay at this hotel due to the... More

Average room. Ideally located for the ascension of the volcano. Staff is friendly and hot water pools (natural sources) are more than appreciated after the treck. Inside the room, furnitures nd bathroom would need of a bit of refreshment. If you take the room on the spot, bargain the price. Overall, fair deal for a night before trekking.

Let’s get one thing straight – if you are looking for something charming, Arlina’s is not the place for you. However, if you are willing to see past this lack of charm, decoration, then it is definitely worth staying a night here before climbing Mount Batur. We stayed at Arlina’s for one night. Apart from the room which actually made... More

The region is lovely. We took this hotel, as the resort down the road was full. It was $35/ room/ night - which did include breakfast. The good: The hot spring-fed pools out the back are fantastic. Very clean. Very nicely presented. And they have a large regular pool to cool off in too. The owner is a lovely woman,... More

There's not much choice in Toya Bungkah. The Ayu, just a few meters away from Arlina's, is the only nice place. But it is not only expensive, it's apparently mismanaged. (Someone in the village told me that the land--right on the lake--had been acquired by a person from Surabaya through corrupt means.) The grounds of the Ayu are huge, but... More
