It is rare to find such a thoughtful place: the room design, bathroom, all public area .gardens, the restaurant (chèvre d'oro- not sure of the name...) and above all the service Located perfectly ,We have been 2 nights and we were very sorry to leave. Breakfast is too expensive .but not different from other hotels in France. WiFi was slow

L'Oustau de Baumaniere is luxury hotel that certainly deserve its relais et chateaux award. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and the main building, its garden and swimming pool are amazing. Service is good, however check in-check out at reception situated more than 1km away is a bit unconvinient. For this standard of hotel you would expect to have a... More

Super expensive for the extremely low quality service one gets. Beautiful location, yes, but is that worth all the other negative aspects of this place: in one word NO. Restaurant is on the downhill, as I have been there several times before and recent experiences definitely do not match the initial ones.

This is the second year in a row that we stayed at L'Oustau de Baumaniere. It's one of our favorite spots. This time, the owner's daughter was "covering" the reception desk whenever we were about. This woman, Marie (I believe is her first name), is such an asset to the property! How charming she is, and helpful. Marie directed us... More

What to say... This property used to be great, but it is all downhill. It's a pity that on top of all this, the staff is so rude. I would definitely not recommend this place, especially for the $$$, it is NOT worth it.

Dear sc 175, We are surprised to read to message published only 2 days ago regarding a stay made 5 months ago and written in English while you seem to be located in Paris. We are always read very carefully our client’s comments on Trip Advisor because they help us to increase our services quality. Unfortunately your comment is so... More

We spent three nights in Les Beaux at Le Manoir on the grounds of the chateau. We were upgraded to a suite, and although it was not in the main hotel, it was spacious, peaceful and comfortable. Huge windows looking over a beautiful garden. It is quite a close drive to the town of Les Beaux and a great spot... More

We ordered three rooms for three nights in the main building at the Oustau de Baumaniere. The location is superb and enabled us to conveniently tour the beautiful surroundings, attractions and villages of the region. The property is beautiful, stylish and very well maintained. This is exactly what we were expecting from this old style building with a lot of... More

Having read the long list of eminent guests this hotel has accommodated I thought we might join them. Big mistake. We were rather tolerated than welcomed, and we were duly consigned to one of the several annexes. I didn't mind that since the building was very nice, though not 4/5 star. And I have stayed in a few annexes over... More

Thank you for your comment. We do welcome every guest with the same attention and wish to please them. Our hotel is divided into 3 houses and each one has a different atmosphere. I am sorry le Manoir where you stayed did not meet with your expectations. Many guests like it because of its large suites and its beautiful French... More

After visits spanning 26 years it is quite extraordinary how Baumaniere just keeps on improving. They never rest on their reputation and are always striving to improve - both in the restaurant and the hotel. This year we felt the food was really better than ever before and that includes when we first visited and it had three Michelin stars.... More

L'Oustau is a fabulous hotel, made up of different small buildings, each with their own amenities. We stayed in the Manor House, which is about 1km from the main hotel - and it was wonderful. Our room, on the ground floor, was charming and had its own garden area where one could sit and enjoy the great breakfast the hotel... More
