We were looking for good value during the Stampede and decided to stay outside Calgary. We loved the Ramada - just a quick 25 minute drive door to door. The pool and waterslide were awesome...so clean!! We usually had the whole place to ourselves! The Ramada chain is not somewhere I'd usually stay with my family (I've stayed in some that were horrible). What a pleasant surprise this particular location was. This is a new hotel that was very well built. It's practically soundproof, the furniture is beautiful. We booked a suite with a separate bedroom, couch, chair with ottoman, fireplace, two tvs, two phones, a large desk with hi speed internet.
