If you need to stay in Drumheller to visit the excellent Tyrrell museum, this is one of the better options in town. Overall, it was overpriced for the quality of the facility, but interesting.
This B and B is an old boarding house that has been renovated - obviously by the elbow grease of its owners with many do-it-yourself touches. It is charming - in the way that doll collections and dried flower arrangements are charming. What we found truly charming was the friendliness of the staff.
Some of the rooms have the ingredients of a romantic weekend with large jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Our bed was elevated (about four feet!) which was achieved by fastening the chair legs to wooden blocks which looked a bit dubious at first, but did hold. This was interesting and a bit puzzling. Personally, I would have appreciated a better quality bed more.
Because of the age of the building, the rooms were not sound proof; we could hear the TV in other rooms and people...
