WE stopped at this campsite on our return leg of our holidays in the prairies. We stayed for one night only as we were returning home after a month of roaming around the prairies. This campsite was a little out of the way for us, but it is nestled in the country and was very quiet for us. we didn't... More

We stayed one night and it was after a big rain storm so most sights were muddy. It was quiet and the sites were spacious. The washroom/showers could have been cleaner, especially the showers. Walls were covered in long hair.

We stayed in a RV with all the facilities in it the same as our friends travelling with us. We lite a fire and had a few cool drinks and it was relaxing and very comfortable. The girls went and washed some clothes in what could only be explained as a laundry with the basics. The machines worked and all... More

We booked a tenting site here based on reviews. We made sure to avoid the overflow area and were booked tenting site #20. Now let me first start off by saying that we are campers. I mean tenting, outhouse, the whole thing. No glamping for us. So I took my son to the nearest porta-potty expecting a typical non-glamorous porta-potty.... More

Hoodoo, has well manicured lawns and mature trees on all the sites. The lots are huge huge and allow for a large family. There are 3 playground areas and an off leash park. We had a great time and will definitely come back next year.

As some of the other reviews indicate, this campground may be quite satisfactory for self-contained campers. However, we stayed in the tenting area which is a long way from the washroom. But we picked a site close to the nearest porta-potty. What a mistake! It was the most disgusting toilet I have ever encountered in over 60 years of camping.... More

Nice level ground...beautiful park by the river. Would go back there for sure and recommend to friends. We had a spot by the river but the other ones were all decent. Beautiful pads with lots of shade and green grass. Bugs were not bad at all which was a surprise as everyone said they are bad by the river.

Rule one: Don't forget the bug spray! Being right next to the river, bugs everywhere!!! We tented for 3 nights which for our family is a bit long, the campground seemed to be in the middle of all the destinations we wanted to see and do. We were lucky enough to get probably the one and only shaded tent site,... More

We admittedly booked a little late for the August long weekend but figured unserviced overflow couldn't be that bad. It is. You get tossed in a bare open field beside the highway with a random smattering of tables and fire pits with *ONE* porta-potty 50ish spots (including a few group spots). If you're idea of fun is camping amongst a... More
