Staying here back in November reminded me of when Obey-one-kanobi brought Luke Skywalker to that terrible bar to hire the Millennium Falcon. There were 'ladies of the night' and a bunch of gangster 'new Canadians' all over the place. Keep driving. If you are 'working the rigs' and need some blow and a good time, help yourself.

This is really average hotel. Good thing about it is only the price. You get what you paid for. We booked a room for 5 people. We got one for 4 only. After very long conversation with unhelpful night shift concierge we got rolling bed delivered to our room. We stayed there only few hours and we choose that hotel... More

I wasn't sure going into since I had seen such bad reviews. The staff was really great to deal with. I found the rooms to be clean. The service at the bar was great! You get what you pay for. Don't rely on the reviews - I found my experience to be great!

Rooms: dirty! Floors: dirty! Don't stay here if you have allergies! I was so stuffed up. Bar: dirty. And Don't bother ordering a drink - they are very noticeably watered down. Three of us commented the same thing! Food: only had chicken wings and they were only edible, not tasty. Here is the funny part: We stayed five days (my... More

I have never had an experience like this before. First off, we had difficulty finding the location, and like previous reviewers had thoughts of leaving as soon as we did find it. The building is very old and run down, and nowhere is "Howard Johnson" mentioned. The parking lot was filled with potholes and covered in mud. Men were aimlessly... More

Rooms are on the dingy side, bathrooms minuscule , there was a lengthy power outage while I was there and staff seemed to be arguing in the corridors much of the time. Not duper pleasant but about $40 cheaper than other things in the area. The room did appear clean, and the beds reasonably comfortable- next time I would probably... More

We arrived at 2:30am after driving there straight from work in Red Deer. Upon arrival we noticed *gangs* of people milling about on the road. First impression, this looks really unsafe! Maybe we should just go. I wish we had just left and gone elsewhere. Entering the lobby we discovered that it was literally attached to a nightclub, so there... More

I have been in many hotels over the last 10 years, and this was the worst. Orange streaks on the walls, mold in the shower, blinds that don't work, doors to the room look like they have been broken into more times than they were opened with keys. The first, the only time I will EVER, EVER, EVER stay at... More
