My 2 yr old son got in the hot tub as soon as we got in the the room. Two days after, red itchy rashes started to appear and it spread uncontrolably. A week of stay with a cheap deal can't compensate with what he's going through 2 weeks after checking out. Rashes all over his body and the doctor... More

Stayed on night at Western Budget #3. The others in my party were leery of my reservation but as soon as they saw their rooms everyone was beyond pleased. We had 3 rooms (2 standard, one with a den which had a large work desk), all were extremely clean and very spacious just as previous reviewers have stated. All of... More

The website for this chain of motels is atrocious and gives a very seedy, scary impression of what to expect. Forget that impression and give it a try! We stayed for one night before an early flight. The room was MASSIVE and had a full kitchen (Stove, full fridge and sink) as well as bunk beds and a double bed.... More

Stayed April 5th, they put a $250 hold on my credit card, no big deal there. Payed by debit the following morning, lo and behold I looked at my credit card statement online this morning ... The charges went through for my room on my card as well as by debit for that stay! Good thing I looked, I stayed... More

The big selling point for me was the jacuzzi suite at a regular hotel room rate. The name "Western Budget" is a put-off but the room was anything but. The room was more spacious than any other standard hotel room I've been in. It had a mini-kitchenette with fridge, stove, sink, and cupboards stocked with dishware and utensils. There were... More

My Spouse and I really enjoyed our stay. From the time we check in to the time we check out was excellent. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate us in any way . The room was awesome and well worth the price. I would recommend all to go there. Close to all good shopping and a very... More

My husband works out of the country and we stay at the Western Budget chain every time he flies in each month, and have done so every month going on four years now. Also we frequent Edmonton for personal reasons, kids sports and shopping and such and stay at the western budget hotels 90% of the time as well. My... More

We were surprised at how nice and clean the Western Budget #1 was. Was not sure how it would be after reading some reviews but have stayed in hotels with much higher ratings that were not nearly as nice. We had a jacuzzi kitchen room and were very impressed with the room and the hotel staff. Will definetely stay there... More

My wife and I recently completed a six day trip on our motorcycle and stayed five of six nights in Western Budget motels, throughout northern Alberta. While every stay was enjoyable we need to acknowledge the manager, Dede, at Leduc [1]. Dede made us feel very welcome and has defined EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were back a week later,... I have to say my stay there was great. I got a King smoking Jacuzzi room Building #1. I was only dis appointed with the softness of the bed. It could have been softer but I slept good none the less. I loved the jacuzzi and the lighting was great. I wasn't sure what to expect after reasing the reviews... More
