Terri's eye for detail is amazing. The location and surroundings were from a picture book and the accomodation was outstanding. I had the most wonderful three days there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some R&R away from the hustle of city life. A very pleasant experince - one that I would like to experience again. more

What a wonderful place to get away from the rat race and just RELAX. Your hosts... Terri and Marv are probably two of the most genuinely nice people you will ever have the opportunity to meet. If I had gone to Strathmore with a blueprint of what the "perfect" time would be, it would have been blown out of the water by the actual time I spent at Rocking R Ranch! I concur with all the great things said in the other reviews of Terri and Marv's Rocking R Ranch. It is absolutely phenomenal. I had a week vacation in October 2007 and wanted to fish the Bow River with a couple of buddies. The Rocking R Guest Ranch is a great place to relax and unwind from the hectic pace of the big city. This was our kids first experience with horses and Marvin made them feel relaxed and at ease. My husband and I got married at the Ranch. It was a beautiful place for a small wedding. We had a fantastic experience, were treated spectacularly, and had a wonderful stay.
