Hills Health Ranch was located off the highway in woods, pasture, and meadows. You pass a barn and horses on the way to the guest quarters and restaurants. Once we were in the lobby the staff was helpful and efficient. Our room was everything you might expect from a great place to stay. It was roomy, clean, and pleasant. The... more

I absolutely loved our stay at the Hills Health Ranch. We stayed in one of the lodge "hotel-style" rooms. The room was nicely decorated and well suited to the location. The property itself is beautiful. Everything is conveniently located. We went dog sledding, snow shoeing and snow tubing. It's a wonderful family getaway. The rooms are very clean with nice... more

My family recently spent a winter weekend in a chalet at the Hills. We didn't expect five star accomodation. However we did expect some attention to detail. Examples where this didn't happen include an unshoveled snowy deck with areas of yellow snow (we hoped it was dog urine), a coffee maker that didn't work, bedroom doors that didn't close properly,... more

I have been to the Hills a number of times and it is nice to see the place improve every time. If you are looking for a chi chi spa, this place is not it. Since the Chalets have been updated, the decor has improved. The food is great- I stayed for 10 days and liked the variety offered. The... more

..if you are looking for a chic, five-star experience this isn't it. The rooms are basic, as is the property. (and yes, they are both dated which can be problematic ) However-if you are looking for a loving, nuturing, fun enviroment to lose weight, (on delicious food) eat healthy, hike, bike, ride horses, take great classes or just revel in... more

I was happy with my experience at The Hills health Ranch. the staff was very friendly and was always around when I had a question. We stayed in a chalet and was happy with the layout. It was very clean and the staff that came in to clean everyday was very curteous and got the job done well. The chalets... more

I was really expecting a fabulous experience based on previous reviews and so was disappointed on arrival. This is a physically beautiful property but the building's interiors are firmly 80's - dreary and dated. Our family of four stayed in a villa and the set up was excellent. Three bedrooms for the four of us worked well for our teenagers.... more

We stayed in the Manor House, Room #33, facing the mountains on two separate occasions in July 2008 (just ended up in the same room both times). I grew up in the north (of this province), and know the area and used the hotel as an overnight stop on a car trip heading farther north. Lovely big sky country, very... more

This place is amazing! You must go here! Most travel agents don't specify 100 mile house as a stop off for people who are doing a driving tour of British Columbia etc and instead recommend Kamloops. However, tell them you want to go this way instead! The title here is a little misleading, as it is not a 'health' ranch... more

Not visible from the highway, The Hills is located down a short gravel road - peaceful, quite - a great setting. Although many of the guests at the Hills are there to improve their health, the 4 of us were there for a "girls spa weekend". We booked the "spoiler" package which included all of our meals, fitness classes, pool,... more
