Very family like atmosphere to stay.. staff is friendly . Decent wi-fi. Secured building requires key tap at night for getting in front door. Water pressure and hot water was good. Dry sauna and basic fitness equipment available. Would recommend.

I had booked this hotel via Expedia on what was supposedly a good deal. But noticed that as recent as one month prior to my stay (September 2015) there were at least 3 complaints on bed bug registry from visitors on bed bugs infestation. When I called the hotel, the receptionist refused to acknowledge these reviews claiming that they never... More

Because there was a lot going on in Vancouver at the time of our stay, there was not much choice in rooms so we stayed at the Happy Day Inn for the first time. The room was small with 2 double beds and very Spartan. We had an old style TV with standard cable fare. The room had a fridge... More

It’s cheap. I’m cutting you off right now—it’s cheap. I know you’re going to think, “yeah, but you have to expect some measure of”—nope—cheap. In fact, year to year, whenever I travel to Vancouver and look for places to stay on Travelocity or Expedia, it’s always near the top of the list of most inexpensive. That must account for something.... More

We were looking for a nice cheap hotel and we found this one. Great price. The room is clean, the staff is friendly. Far from downtown Vancouver but the difference in price is worth it. If you do not have high standard, I would recommend this motel.

This hotel was clean. The coffee was excellent. The room I was in had no fridge two beds & very little room to maneuver. Good for a short stay mostly spent sleeping, but not much else. I looked for the exercise room and the meeting room with no success.

Woke up to rats in the walls, found fleas in the bed. Crumbs in cups. We were so disgusted we had to leave right away. Would rather of slept in the car. If you're looking for an infested place to stay that's the place!! :(
