We had a large room which included a well equipped kitchen. An excellent breakfast was included in the price; this is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had since the Balalaika in Johannesburg. The service was good. When I could not get on the internet, someone came to the room to help me. Another good feature: the sink is... More

We had been warned that there was construction at the hotel so we not surprised to find a LOT of construction at the front of the hotel. We were well received by reception and told that we could park down by our room. We did that and went in to a lovely big, well appointed, clean king room. Good amenities... More

Stayed for 2 nights on a business trip.. have stayed at this hotel a number of times due to the proximity of the place I am doing business at. Hotel is going through a much needed upgrade.. the room was recently updated, bed comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very poor, with little variety. Old eggs & cocktail wieners were... More

This is our second time staying at this location, due to the proximity to the Metropolis Mall. Sometimes we stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Metrotown depending on the price at the time. Either one is fine with us. The beds and pillows are comfy, the rooms are quiet, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived from... More

The BW Burnaby is a wonderful choice. It is located in the collar suburbs of Vancouver, easily accessible by the sky train (stop on blue or yellow line is "Royal Oaks") either via the airport or from the Amtrak train station (which we used). Get an all-day pass - "two zones" - for the best deal. The breakfast is plentiful.... More

I was completely shocked after reading all these great receive on TripAdvisor to find the hotel in a bad condition. We arrived at the hotel about midnight, on July 6, 2015. My first impression was if this was a 'take your mistress for a quickie type of motel'. It looks like a college dorm. The rooms all open up to... More

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay with us. I sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectation. I have asked the staff who provided you the information on getting to the Stanley Park. She advised you to take the bus #106 to the Metrotown station and take bus #19 from there instead of walking a couple... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in July and we were disappointed from the start. There was significant building work going on and we had not been informed about this (another hotel on our trip had warned us in advance of some minor works in the hotel). The work here made the lobby hard to find, you had to walk a... More

Even though there was construction going on at the front of the property, room was extremely quiet, clean and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was great, with everything anyone would want for breakfast and attentive service. I would recommend this Inn to anyone wanting value for their money.

Wanted a motel closer to where our girls now live in Vancouver. With the world soccer games on, prices were crazy. Like $1010 at the airport. Holiday Inn was over $600 a night. Other hotel we would have used was not quite as high but we were willing to travel a bit and save a lot. Never been to this... More

Hotel location is convenient and the area feels reasonably safe. Very close to MetroPolis at Metrotown. Room is good size and reasonably clean. Please note it is outdoor corridor style, but we do feel safe as there is security patrolling. Free breakfast quality is average. Service is a bit lacking and not very clean, may be due to the ongoing... More
