Very quiet motel right on the water. spotless room with all the essentials including fridge, coffee maker and good wi-fi. It was nice to leave the french window open and listen to the waves. The reception was very friendly and efficient and the rate good at about $90. Good parking. Located up the hill out of the downtown but still... More

I stayed at the Passage View in September 2014 as part of a west coast tour. As things happen, I stayed in Campbell River twice. The first time I stayed at the Trip Advisor #1 rated motel (and it was not #1 in my books). The second time I followed the recommendations of some traveling companions and stayed at Passage... More

Had a restful and enjoyable stay at the Passage View motel. All rooms face the water and have picnic tables right outside the back door. Watch the eagles fly overhead. About 100 steps takes you down to the waterfront. Lovely place to stay, clean and well maintained. Full kitchen facilities. Friendly and welcoming. Be sure to visit the First Nations... More

It was getting late, raining, and I'd just pulled out of the motel down the road where the room was so smoky it burned my eyes and I demanded my money back. I was almost at the edge of Campbell River and everywhere else was showing No Vacancy. I was getting worried. When I saw the Vacancy sign at Passage... More

A clean tidy motel. You can walk down to sea and along the shore line. Quite ,with the sound of sea gulls in the back ground.A constant passage of small fishing boats with the odd large ones going past, good show at night.we will stay here again.

I would have liked to have rated this motel higher, especially after reading others' comments, but other than the view was rather disappointed. Paper cups for coffee and plastic 'glasses' doesn't go with spending $100 for a room. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed the view of course.

This motel was old from the outside but we were highly surprised with the quality of the rooms. The room standard is much higher than some more modern hotels. Once we saw the room we made no hesitation to stay. Great beds.

I stayed at the Passage View for two nights while staying in Campbell River. I have stayed there before and it continues to be good value with drop dead gorgeous views of the ocean. For a better view ask for the second or third floor. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good place... More

On the main highway into town, this motel was very handy for a walk into town for dinner. Reception staff were very welcoming, giving us the choice of 2 suites. The unit had stove, fridge, kettle and plenty of utensils. The bed was comfortable and the room opened out onto the water so that passing cruise ships and other water... More

I love this kind of place: a mom-and-pop roadside motel, clean basic, affordable, and quiet enough for a quick overnight. No frills, but I wasn't looking for any. Great location, and every room with a view. Check in/check out - no hassles. No complaints. Thank you, Passage View Motel.
