I was travelling the island with my son and wanted a homey place with a view and horses! Found it here, and a whole lot more. Super impressed with the sunsets, a chance to see a pod of whales and all the sea lions.

Our family celebrated our Mom's 90th birthday with a weekend getaway at the lodge. It was a wonderful weekend with awesome hosts. They did everything to make our weekend memorable. Moved instruments so we could have a sing song, set up extra table. Made us feel comfortable and at home, Our thanks for such wonderful hospitality.

Booked this place based on the ranking in Courtenay but it is about 16km south of town. The hosts were very welcoming but the room had a noticeable smell of something like paint - hopefully that was a temporary phenomenon. Breakfast was good but we ate with the hosts and the dynamic of trying not to take the last of... More

First of all when you stay at a B&B you have to expect to be talking to people. What I didn't expect is that it would feel like home. Steve and Carolyn are fantastic human beings. I felt welcome, warm, safe and very taking care of. The B&B is set up very well with just the right amount of privacy... More

We recently spent 10 days at Two Eagles lodge whilst visiting our son in Courtenay. After travelling for 27 hours from Australia we arrived at Two Eagles late and exhausted on an icy cold evening. We were welcomed by Steve & Carolyn whose warmth exceeded that of the beautiful crackling fire burning brightly in their wonderful lounge room. I was... More

We spent 5 nights at 2 Eagles Lodge while exploring Vancouver Island back in July 2013. I can only say that we could not choose better. B&B is clean, comfy and well located. One can get rest in an outside jacuzzi, barbecue in the garden, feed horses or simply sit down on a famous bench (made by Carolyn's grandpa) and... More

When you get a chance, please email me suggestions to make the four-star ratings on "sleep quality" and "rooms" a five-star...what we could do to make those a five-star. We welcome all suggestions. My daughter and her friend and I missed the last ferry to Hornby Island and had to scramble to find a place to stay for the night. Two Eagles Lodge was nearby so we just showed up on their doorstep without a reservation. Steve greeted us and we knew right away that we'd found a friendly and very welcoming environment.... More

We were only able to stay one night at Two Eagles, prior to our weeklong cruise up Princess Louisa Inlet and Chatterbox Falls. It was pouring when we arrived in the dark after a long day on the road, but we were made to feel immediately at home. Carolyn and Steve are wonderful hosts, with lots of useful local information... We love this excellent B&B on Vancouver Island twice and look forward to going back again. We have been twice already; Steve and Carolyn are very welcoming, full of fun and we rapidly became friends, laughing over the brazier on the first night.
