Colleen is a keen and very able B&B host, ably assisted by husband Lyle and Rafiki the beautiful and friendly dog. Arriving early on a Friday afternoon for a weekend of music festing, Colleen provided a warm and personal welcome to their spacious and handsome home. Temperatures soared outside but the air conditioning made a very restful time while we... More

Coleen and Lyle are perfect host. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. Coleen gave us a lot of tipps to explore the Comox Valley. The breakfast was very good. The time at Torrie B&B was one of our highlights on Vancouver Island.

We couldn't have wished for a better stay. The accommodation was spotless, beautiful and peaceful. The hosts were friendly, organised, helpful and a mine of faultless information. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Absolutely recommended. Wonderful people and a wonderful B&B.

Although I have stayed at Torries B&B in the past, and had a good idea what to expect, my visit in mid April was all the more wonderful. It truly was just what I needed. Colleen, Lyle and Rafiki all made me feel welcome, and they were more than watchful to be sure I had a much needed rest. My... More

My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at Torries B&B. Our room was grand with a balcony overlooking the mountains. A bar fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery, glasses and utensils, and Sitting chairs all grace the room. Large bathroom with walk in shower , tub, double sink including Tiny soaps locally made on Hornby Island. Very friendly couple and dog... More

We had long planned to return to Vancouver Island from a 2 decade visit absence...and, especially, to visit the central and north...where we had not travelled before. We researched B&Bs and found Torrie...lucky...or serendipity? This B&B is outstanding! Located in a quiet, beautiful, residential neighborhood, with views to Mt. Washington (an almost mile-high ski area to the east), the home... More

From the moment you ring the doorbell you are greeted with warmth and enthusiasm - and that is from Rafiki the dog! The hosts, colleen and Lyle have everything just right. A pot of tea appeared within minutes and it was so enjoyable just sitting and chatting with them after our journey. Our room was delightful. If there is anything... More

Colleen and Lyle greeted us at the door with a warm welcome. The house was in a lovely, easy to find quiet neighborhood, about 10 minutes from the Powell River ferry on Vancouver island. Our room was spotless with comfortable twin beds and lots of pillows. Our bathroom which we had to ourselves was directly across the hall from our... More

We stayed for two nights at Torrie's B&B in the Nautical Room. Colleen and Lyle received us with a very warm welcome. The room is spacious, comfortable and well stocked. Joined by a lovely bathroom. The breakfast is great, with lots of room for visitors suggestions.
