We were staying at the Elizabeth lodge in late August 2014. It is a beautiful log building with a large birding sanctuary behind the lodge that guarantees peace and quiet. The rooms we stayed in were exquisite.Large comfortable beds, all the amenities you would want if you were rich. Each room had a blooming orchid in it, heated bath towels,... More

Everything was first rate. The welcome we were given on arrival was lovely, including a bar of chocolate! We were shown our rooms which were beautiful, light and airy with all amenities. Cleanliness was superb. The owners spent time giving us recommendations for dinner and breakfast which were spot on. There is a nature reserve on site which made a... More

We were a part of a group that stayed at Elizabeth Lake Lodge on Wednesday September 10th. George & Rachel the owners offer superb hospitality at this beautiful boutique hotel. Check in includes a choice of chocolate (milk, dark or extra dark) and we were happy to have the heated towels after a cold day. The rooms at this hotel... More

We have been vacationing at Elizabeth Lake Lodge for 10 years. George and Rachel know the motel business inside out. They know how to look after their guests. The rooms are spectactular. This is the top motel/hotel spot in Cranbrook.

Excellent Hotel, owners were very personable and helpful. Room very clean, beds comfortable, furniture is not new, but in excellent condition. Kitchenette well stocked with dishes, full size microwave, stove and fridge. Rooms along back of hotel have a balcony and each room has its own sitting area outside their door. Grounds are clean and well kept, with walking paths... More

Unfortunately the lodge was full, but the front desk staff was so helpful in finding us a good place to stay on a weekend when almost everything was full. She called several places & told us where not to stay. If this is how helpful she is to non guests, I wonder what she's like if you are actually a... More

Booked one night stay after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and was very pleased. Traveling around the Canadian Rockies and this location was perfect for our trip. Room was super with more amenities than we realized. Just a note to light sleepers, the railroad and highway are not far from the motel so bring along a fan or white noise... More

I can't describe how nice this place is. New, rooms and bed amazing, bottom level has deck that looks out to nature preserve with walking trails. Deep tub, lots of hot water for my sore back. Friendly owner shows you the room on arrival. No breakfast, restaurants and downtown about 5 minute drive. Seems well built, didn't hear a lot... More

Great small motel with rooms that face the lake & bird sanctuary. Right on highway but NO noise when on lake side. Nice easy walk around lake. Nice rooms with small, efficient kitchenette with full stove, microwave, etc. Bathroom has a very deep tub, heated floor and heated towel rack. The manager is very nice and addresses you by name!...
