I stayed at the Elizabeth Lake Lodge for three nights in early January and it was by far the best experience I have had in the East Kootenay. I travel quite a bit throughout the Kootenay region and ELL more than met my needs. From the friendly welcome to the beautifully renovated rooms (my bathroom had heated floors) the ELL... More

We had occasion to stay overnight in Cranbrook, a week ago, and after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, chose Elizabeth Lake Lodge. It was everything that previous reviewers had applauded. The room was immaculate and upscale, with amenities such as heated bathroom floors and towel bars. I had broken 4 ribs in a skiing accident the day before our stay... More

We travel to Cranbrook regularly and have stayed overnight at a number of establishments. Elizabeth Lake Lodge is our favourite by far. In fact it's the nicest place I've stayed anywhere in years. Rooms are reliably beautiful and well-appointed, clean as a whistle, quiet and very functional. The little details like the artisan hand soap, the heated towel racks, the... More

This past month I've travelled from Ottawa, ON to Cape Breton, NS and then all the way across Canada to Cranbrook, BC. This was by far the best place I stayed at. The room was gorgeous and incredibly clean. The bed was more comfortable than my own at home. The lodge owners were incredibly friendly andtheir suggestions for places to... More

This lodge was one of the best places we stayed while traveling thru Canada in October. It is on the outskirts of town in a lovely setting near the lake and a wildlife preserve. When we checked in the owner offered me some yummy European chocolate, then walked me over to our room. The room was recently remodeled and was... More

My last trip to Cranbrook I was lucky to be able to stay at the ELL - it was sold out on every other occasion and I can see why. The rooms are super clean, the beds comfortable, quiet location and the owners are friendly and obviously take pride in their business. Will always stay here in future. Great work. More

I had my wedding in Cranbrook BC on the Thanksgiving weekend and a lot of my out of town guests stayed at the Elizabeth Lake Lodge where they were treated amazingly well! They fresh baked strudel delivered to their rooms on their first night and the accommodations were great! They loved the beds and the rooms were bright and clean.... More

I stayed at the Elizabeth Lake Lodge for 3 nights with my 2 dogs. When traveling with dogs you often end up in 2nd rate rooms, but not so at this lodge. We had a beautifully appointed room with a kitchenette, couch and great bathroom (with infloor heat!). Each room has a door straight to the outside, which is great... More

I had the opportunity to first stay at Elizabeth Lake Lodge while participating on the Cops for Kids ride in September 2011. Owners George and Rachel (and their two great sons) kindly hosted our entire team of riders for this charity event. We were blown away by their hospitality and kindness and the Lodge is absolutely perfect. Every little detail... More

We stayed one night on the way to banff. The website didn't do the lodge justice...this is a nice little p lace on the southern edge of town with a lodge-like feel to it. The three people I dealt with were extremely warm and welcoming. The room was affordable and comfortable...we loved the heated tile floor in the bathroom. The... More
