I arrived at 9:00 pm for a one night stay. The owner greeted me by name and asked if I had eaten yet. Since it was a little late for restaurants he offered me a snack. After settling me into my room he brought over a cheese tray and icy glass of homemade cider. I took a peaceful walk through... More

The owners are absolutely incredible people!! Willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay the absolute BEST! I can't say enough of what they did to the rooms, with the heated floors in the washrooms, the bed that was out of this world, the views, the mini-golf course, on and on!! Great experience having to be in Cranbrook... More

Spotless rooms, heated bathroom floors, great beds, mini kitchens, great location next to nature lake sanctuary. It's neat to see owners have so much pride in their establishment. I'd recommend a stay here to anyone traveling in the Kootenay region.

We were travelling to Lake Louise to use a couple of free nights in a lakeview suite at the Fairmont. Decided to fly into Spokane instead of Calgary because of the costs of the flights and, hey, the drive might be pretty. Looked at places to break up the drive on TripAdvisor and chose this place over the St. Eugene... More

Seriously, they met us as we were walking up to the office and greeted us by name. The owner checked us in and showed us our room. The heated tile floors and heated towel rack were awesome and the beds were so comfortable. Something you would expect in a five star hotel. We will definitely come back when we travel... More

I stayed at the Elizabeth Lake Lodge overnight as a stop off point from Vancouver to Lethbridge. I was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. The room had a stove and oven as well as fridge, microwave, toaster....and all the necessary kitchen utensils to make a meal. The bed was really comfortable and the decor was very up... More

Stayed at ELL in early April as part of a longer road trip. Enjoyed our overnight and the terrific location. If weather permits don't miss your pre-dinner (or pre-breakfast) walk in the bird sanctuary. Depending on the time of year there can be lots to see. If you have binoculars take them: some of the nesting sites are away from... More

We stayed at Elizabeth Lake Lodge just one night in August of 2011. After a long day of travel, we arrived well after dark. The owners were there and welcomed us like friends, calling me by name as if we had always known each other. One of them walked me to the room and showed me all the features before... More
