The outside of the hotel makes it look like a rundown neighborhood. We were given a second floor room with 2 separate bedrooms. The room was very clean. It was setup as an efficiency with a fridge and microwave. Note that this is right on the main road through town. The second room did not have adequate curtains to keep... More

Stayed here 1 night as we were passing through. Weve stayed at another cheap lodge other times, and always didnt get much sleep, this motel was much of an improvement. Its def. not high quality, but we are not picky. Its comfortable to stay for a night or two, the price is worth it. PROS: Comfy beds Clean Mini fridge... More

The Nomad Motel is a little worn down motel and needs some work. Staff was pleasant but gave us a smoking room instead of a non-smoking. It wasn't to bad but that is one thing that they should be watching a little closer. Price was a little high for what you get.

Stayed there over the weekend after our 4 hour drive our girls couldn't wait to go for a swim. It was green with mold and bugs blanketing the surface...The first time they didn't swim. VERY DISAPOINTING !! Rooms were OK some things worked some didn't. The owner was nice but didn't hold back on dropping bad language to some louder... More

I stayed here with my young family for two nights during a busy summer long weekend. The place is older and somewhat dated but the owners do a fantastic job of keeping things clean and maintained. Don't come here expecting fresh and new because that is not what you will find. Do come here if you are looking for friendly,... More

The customer service was good and friendly. The rooms are very outdated. As far as I could tell they were clean, but when things are so outdated it's often difficult to tell. The price was good compared to others in the area is why we chose this hotel, on a future visit we'll pay a bit more for a better... More

It's an old motel and it's priced like an old motel, but the fellow who owns it keeps everything working and CLEAN and he's quite accommodating and nice. It was also very quiet. 200 character minimum for this review seems like a pointless requirement.

We have stayed at this motel a number of times before but were very disappointed this time. First of all there was no water because the pilot light had gone out on the water heater (apparently not the first time) the Wi-Fi was bad as the ip address had been marked as spamming and the TV did not work and... We spent a night at the Nomad when we passed through Cranbrook this September. Yes it is an old motel, but the rooms are clean and are a good value. They have an outdoor pool and lots of benches and chairs outside the rooms. Parking is right outside your room, which is very nice. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.... More

We only stayed one night as we were passing through. It was certainly good value. We got a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette for under $100 which was great as we were travelling with my 94 year old mother. It is a clean, well cared for facility and the owner operator - Luke was very kind and helpful.
