If you're looking for a characterful place to stay, then look no further than this B & B. Old world charms all around, plenty of space and comfort in our room, a friendly host, good breakfast (and Verandah the cat) all made this an excellent stopover on the way to the Rockies.

Rooms were spotless and so roomy and comfortable. Best beds we have slept on in a long time. Rose makes a lovely breakfast and has lots of suggestions for activities in the area. The "coffee room" is well stocked and their home is beautifully restored. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

This is a first class bed and breakfast. Our room was on the 1st floor and included a bedroom, bathroom, dressing room with refrigerator and our own private part of the gorgeous front porch. Rose is very engaging and prepared a wonderful breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our fellow travelers. Rose gave us suggestions on where to walk for dinner. Perfect... More

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this B&B. Rose is WONDERFUL, her food is amazing, the house is comfortable, charming and beautifully decorated. The yard (grounds) were beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting in the rocking chairs on the verandah. It was one of the most relaxing weekends I have had in a long time. If you are... More

I've no idea why we decided to stop in Cranbrook, then Rose opened the door of her bed and breakfast, then we knew why. This place is very comfortable, with astonishing rooms, friendly hosts and excellent food. Change your reservation from one to two nights, or maybe three. The area around is worth that extra time. Book in and enjoy.

With some B&Bs travelers must compromise their privacy. This B&B breaks the mold and offers exceptional comfort and independence at a reasonable price. Each of the 3 suites has a name and my preference is The Procter which has a separate entrance, a large bathroom and a great bed.

This is a fabulous place to stay. The building itself is a historic victorian building - the former railway superintendent's house. Rose and Don have restored it beautifully with all sorts of quirky treasures including crystal chandeliers and a picture of Queen Victoria. It's centrally located in the historic Baker Hill area and a a few minutes walk from Baker... More

Excellent and unusual B & B, filled with fantastic treasures. Beautiful large rooms and every home comfort on tap. Delicious breakfast cooked and served by Owner Rose, who was a wonderful hostess and a mine of valuable information about Cranbrook and also our next destination, Nelson. Would have no hesitation recommending this lovely place.
