We we at this park back in the late 1970's when we came off the last ferry and the kids were cranky and tired and it was a very nice place with a waterslide. So when we saw this place was still open and we were coming from the u.s, did not want to miss a ferry we decided to... More

It costs $40 per night and you feel like you are intruding on the managers time, service does not exist. The facilities are dirty, the park is unkept and in disrepair. The location is handy to the ferries going to Vancouver Island but this is not a good enough reason to waste your money here.

We chose this destination as it was so close to the ferry and we basically just wanted to drop our trailer for a few days and head over to Victoria. We arrived on Saturday afternoon without a reservation only to find out the park is closed Saturdays and Sundays. Weird for an RV park. But someone was nice enough to... More

I wish we had read the reviews before we stayed here. Because it was close to the ferry and the website pictures looked good we booked to stay here so we could catch an early ferry. What a mistake. Like the other reviews state it was the worst RV park we have ever stayed in and we have been camping... More

the word Canada should not even be in the title. The place is a dump and over priced for the tiny spot you have try and get your RV into. It's hard not to feel embarrassed when seeing foreigners wondering what they've gotten them selves into. The staff seemed more concerned about their smoke breaks than looking after the place.... We stayed in this RV park for one night in order to catch the ferry the next morning. The photos on their website are very deceiving. Not a stitch of green grass to be found. Very delapidated and the sites are very close together. But what bothered me the most is that it had A LOT of permanent resident who... More

We were so delighted to find this RV park close to the airport and the ferry to Vancouver Island but when we were arrived and were ready to do laundry we were disgusted with the condition of the laundry and the showers. How much trouble is it to clean these facilities? The permanent residents make the place look like a... More

The staff at this RV Park are excellent. Super friendly and very helpful. Pros: Close to ferry terminal Next to Splashdown Water park Easy to find Laundry facilities are large (4 washers and dryers) and a good price (1.25 for wash and 25 cents/5 minutes for dry) Cons: The permanent residents make the place look like a dump. Their yards... More

Made a reservation to stay at this place expecting to park our trailer and do some visiting in Vancouver before catching the first berry to Victoria the following day. We drove in and promptly drove out. Didn't even get out of the truck. This place looks like a slum. Caught the last ferry and passed on the visit. The convenience of... More

Stayed overnight here so it was convenient to catch the ferry in the morning. Campsites crammed in with very little space. Washrooms badly in need of renovating. Left our mountain bikes strapped to the roof of our tent trailer because we were afraid they might disappear if left within reach. Was it worth the convenience to catch the ferry? No.... More
