This was a great place to stop en route to the heart of the Rockies. All staff, including the dog were very friendly and the mountain views from the grounds were amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. There is also a pool table in the main lodge to help keep you entertained on rainy days. The only thing I... More

Hi! Thank you so much for your feedback. We will make sure to point out the landmarks and signage better in the future so all our guests have a more accurate idea of the lodge entrance. We hope to see again soon. More

We have now been to Heather Mountain Lodge in the winter (heli-skiing) and most recently this summer (hiking) and could not have asked for a more perfect experience on either occasion. Amazing accommodations: Beautiful, clean lodge and guest rooms (with a Nespresso coffee maker in the room!); very kind, charming, and helpful staff); best food ever (seriously!); and a truly... Amazing cabins with even more amazing food. Come in the summer for less crowds and eat every meal possible in the restaurant. A great spot between Golden and Revelstoke, and right off the highway. They are family-friendly, and the cabins are brand new and high end. The soaker tub is fantastic!

Beautiful scenery, good Food and Service, friendly reception/front desk and excellent online booking service. As regarding all backcountry destinations: the Canadians should optimize noise problems with power generators and (kitchen-) ventilators, espacially at night times.

It deserves the praise. Love the food and the bed. I really like their backyard. It is super cute. People are so nice. Had a great experience living in the lounge. It was quiet hard to find though. Cuz the advertisemet board is quiet dark. And does not shine at night.

We were looking for a place to stay in the mountains to break up our drive from Alberta to BC. The Heather Mountain Lodge was perfect. While it is close to the road it is not amongst a noisy group of motels, hotels and fast food places that characterize most highway stops. We had a pet friendly room on the... More

The stay was a little disaapointing and relatively expensive. The room had no view and the main building had no atmosphere. But the food and drink were good and with the right crowd of visitors it could be a fun place to stay. The hot tube was in apokey little place and the sauna needs a long time to warm... More

Hi, Thank you so much for your feedback. We will make sure to let our guests know in the future that the sauna takes up to 1 hour to heat up. Additionally, every year we try to come up with new ideas to make our lodge a bit more cozy. Therefore, we appreciate your review as it will motivate us... More

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Being a remote lodge, a lot of our business comes from our food and beverage department from in house guests. Normally we would not allow for guests to bring their own food into the main lodge. However, we gladly did an exception for you and your family. If... More

Coming from Vancouver we almost missed it. But we wre rewarded with a spectacular view of the mountain range. The hotel is only open between July and September and in Winter (Heli-Skiing). Service was very good, the kitchen offers a lot of choices, the staff is very helpful. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The property is located quite a distance from any other development so the only intrusion on the lovely beauty and quiet of nature is occasional traffic. The main building is designed like a ski lodge. The rooms like a motel. Great food - natural and fresh from the garden. Friendly staff- a great retreat to relax and rediscover nature. Highly...
