My wife and I got married at the lodge in August of 2012. Our time at Heather Mountain could not have gone better. The highlights for us were: the food is excellent! Dan and his staff in the kitchen gave everyone(75+ people) a unforgettable dining experience, the rooms were always clean and staff was always friendly. They were very helpful... More

We stayed here for two nights on a trip to Yoho and Glacier National Parks. A groupon deal lured us in and we were more than happy with the place. The rooms were a decent size. You won't find the newest furnishings, but they were clean. The rooms were in a separate 2-storey building than what's shown in the primary... More

I stayed here for an overnight pit stop with extended family. The rooms were a good size. We had lovely views into the mountains. The public walkways to get to the rooms were a bit tired. The main restaurant was very nice. Again great views and a nice friendly atmosphere. The food was fantastic - very good ingredients and helpful... More

The location is in the middle of the mountains. The view from the room is incredible - just heaven! The staff is supper happy and friendly. If you need internet and phone this might not work for you. But if you want to get away from it all this is perfect. The food is sooo fresh! I don't know what... More

We stayed at the lodge for a wedding in August. The beautiful Glacier Mountains was the perfect backdrop for the wedding. The lodge itself is simple and tastefully decorated. The food at the lodge was amazing; the food was super fresh as it was all local or grown in the garden. If you are the outdoorsy type, this is definitely the... More

Lodge is set within its own gardens in a beautiful location on fringe of Glacier National Park. Main building is a most attractive traditional wooden design with guest rooms in a more conventional adjoining block. All rooms appear to have stunning mountain views. Staff friendly and food top quality. It is isolated (adding greatly to its charm) but those lamenting... More

Our family stayed one night this August, during the week on our way to Golden BC and found our room and the hotel itself very quiet. other than the weekends apparently being booked all summer for weddings, it seems to be a place where noisey travellers bypass thankfully. and even though it is right alongside the highway, the rooms face... Spent the weekend at the lodge for a family wedding. It was an excellent venue for a mountain wedding. The lodge was great. The staff and service were excellent. The food was amazing! Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place for peace and quite. Maybe to much quite time after a few days, but lots of hiking, good starting point. Maybe more then 5 TV channels would have been nice and maybe a warning that the wifi does not work in the rooms. Otherwise, really great staff and really good food. If you do not... More

Just had our wedding out at this amazing lodge. We discovered it last year, and decided that it was where we wanted to get married. Couldn't have asked for a better place to do it. The staff was so accomodating, providing us with everything that we wanted. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the rooming order was exactly how... More
