Stayed 2 nights with Doris and Brad to whitewater with Wet n Wild. So peaceful, rooms clean and well appointed, breakfast was very tasty. Hard to believe this peaceful, comfy place is just a minute from a major roadway... So peaceful and beds so comfy. Highly recommend if you want to escape and relax.

As a fan of Mary Emmerling and her charming books about cottages, cabins and other retreats, I love everything about McLaren Lodge. From the beautiful log lodge to the massive grizzly in the dining room and every cute, quirky detail in between. Each room has it's own character, so hard to choose between them, but what us common to them... More

Very cosy and quiet, the host was very helpful and knowledgable of places to eat out. We got 10% Off at eleven22 restaurant - enjoyed drunken duck, very reasonably priced menu. Rooms are clean and quiet, beds are comfortable. Loved home-made Bumbleberry jam on my toast. The night before saw a skunk nearby :)))

We had a great stay at the lodge. The owners offer comfy & clean rooms in a great mountain setting. Nice seating/TV area and a delicious filling breakfast in the morning. We combined our stay with the whitewater rafting experience the next day which was a blast and highly recommend! I would always choose to stay here when I am... More

We had a wonderfull stay in McLaren Lodge in a nice room with a little patio outside. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was fine (although no shampoo) and the view from the gardens were great. Although the lodge is next to highway one, the rooms are absolutely silent, even with the windows open, Breakfast was fine, not very special... More

Small rooms but clean and tidy. No tv in rooms I guess as sound would be heard through walls. Heard next doors conversation cleary followed by snoring. Tea and tv room at end of corridor but had to take kettle back to room to fill up. Fresh milk available on request but given the smallest amount barely enough for one... More

I was very much disappointed by the rude, and completely unaccommodating owners. I was staying here for a wedding that took place at the top of the gondola at the Kicking Horse Resort. After taking charging my credit card the owner informed me that they had an 11pm curfew (the hotel information ONLY reported there are no check-ins’s past 11pm)... More

This is an easily accessed Bed and Breakfast, just off the Highway for a weary road traveller. Nice and quiet with a beautiful yard and some great vistas of the mountains. If you are lucky enough to get Room 9 you will get your own patio with table and chairs, great for happy hour. There is also a picnic shelter... More

Since we were not use to this type of lodge we were surprised at 4 things. No air conditioning, no shampoo, check out at 10:30am and breakfast was done being served by 9 am. It was our own fault I guess for not asking. Rooms are small without a tv. BUT if you LOVE a bath like I do.... They... More

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, close to Yoho NP. Very friendly owners. You can also book a rafting adventure in this B&B. Nearby highway but still pretty quiet. Not in city centre. We saw some deers in the garden.
