Had arrived in a 26" box truck, worried about taking it down their very steep driveway but we did and it paid off! Great mountain views from balcony room - it was the hottest weather the owner experienced in 13 years and the room was not air conditioned so we went into town and luckily it cooled off by night... A bit outside of Golden but worth it for amazing views! Very clean room, all facilities we needed. Cute balcony. Amazing breakfast! Brandy is super-friendly and welcoming but not overbearing or intrusive. Easy-going atmosphere, we felt right at home. Cool, unique décor with personal touch. Did I mention amazing breakfast?? Beds not the comfiest. Others have complained about train noise,... More

Compared to the chain motels and hotels, the Tschurtschenthaler Lodge was a nice touch of personal hospitality with a stunning view of the Selkirk Mountain Range, overlooking the Columbia River. Brandy obviously loves meeting people and enjoys hosting visitors from all around the world. She connects whoever is in the house, over breakfast, or as you enter/leave, so it is... More

We recently spent two night at this gorgeous little cabin. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by Brandy and provided a tour of the facility. The accommodations, views, and hospitality were all amazing! The bottle of wine waiting on the kitchen table was a nice touch and totally unexpected. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Brandy and her husband Hugo are the two most welcoming people I have met. My fiance and I had satyed in the cabin twice- once just the two of us and just recently with our son. Upon arrival Brandy greeted us at the door with her amazing personality. The cabin was spotless and very welcoming. The property is not far... More

We stayed for 4 nights at Brandy's place. The house is beautifully designed and has a nice touch of personality to it. The view from the mountainside rooms is very nice. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is of extraordinary quality. The optional free coffee or tea during the day is a nice touch. The owners are a... More

We stayed here during a weekend of mountain biking in Golden. The Tschurtschenthaler Lodge was't my first choice but most of the B&Bs in town were booked up, however I am glad I ended up here! The owners were super friendly, and the other guests staying at the same time were a laugh. We ended up spending one evening sitting... More

I stayed one night at the Tschurtschentaler lodge. I booked a room with a view because views were supposed to be great. Unfortunately I arrived in the dark and when I left the morning after it was foggy, so I can't describe them. It finds itself a bit outside Golden, 6 km away from the centre, near the highway 95.... We stayed at this B&B for one night when our friends were getting married down the road. We had such an amazing stay. The house is very clean and very spacious. There are so many wood carvings to look at; it has a lot of character and was recently built. The views on the balcony are spectacular although we didn't... More

The lodge has wonderful views, but the highlight is Brandy's welcome - she really made our stay in Golden one we would not forget. We stayed six nights and had a different breakfast every day and they were all delicious. She found us someone to take us on one of the local hikes which we would never have found on... More
