We rented the cabin for two days and were impressed by the owner's eye for detail. Well appointed, well kept and very clean. The cabin is located on the owner's grounds and provides impressive views over the Columbia River Valley. In the afternoon the balcony is sun drenched and makes a lovely spot for watching the hummingbirds and the occasional... More

We stayed at Tschurschenthaler for 4 nights in September while in Golden for a wedding. It was definitely the best accommodation we had on our 4 week trip and Brandy went out of her way to ensure we had an amazing time. Arriving to unseasonably cold weather, Brandy gave my husband and I extra jackets to wear out and ended... More

A very pleasant experience. Hosts Brandy and Hugo are very good at what they do. Brandy greeted us with a warm welcome and a tour of the well appointed B&B.The decor is beautiful and whimsical as well. Views of the Columbia River Valley are gorgeous and we were lucky to spot a bear right off our balcony within 15 minutes... More

When it comes to the Tschurtschenthaler Lodge B & B, you have to start with the hostess. If there was ever such a contest, I'm sure she would beat the original "hostess with the mostess," Perle Mesta, hands down. She's engaging, intelligent and talking with her is worth the price of admission alone. The lodge is situated in its own... More

A great find, and such a wonderful place. Brandy and Hugo were very welcoming and accomodating. The house itself is beautiful and the views fantastic. My sleep was comfortable and the breakfast very tasty, even asking my dietary requirements. Very highly recommended.

We stayed for one night here towards the end of our Canadian Rockies trip. Brandy is the most enthusiastic of hostesses and made us feel very welcome in her purpose-built B&B home. Everything about the lodge is clean and fresh. Our Queen Room had a private balcony that gave stunning views over the Columbia River Valley towards the snow-capped Selkirk... More

This Lodge was such a wonderful surprise in every way...as we drove up we were met by our lovely friendly host Brandy...when she took us inside her stunningly beautiful lodge we couldn't believe the artistic manner in which she had decorated her entire lodge...words cannot express our delight. Our bedroom was sooo cute and the views from our windows and... More

The Tschurtschenthaler Lodge B & B (who can pronounce it?) was a charming high point. I mean that literally -- a fantastic view of the Columbia River Valley in British Columbia. The waterfalls and the rivers and the lakes were in full glory. A balm for my drought laden soul. The décor was a delightful mix of bold color selection... More

I really can't speak more highly of the 2 evenings I spent at the Tschurtschenthaler Lodge. Brandy is great as is her husband who took me paragliding... which, by the way, is absolutely something you should consider doing! It was scary, no doubt, but fear quickly subsides as amazement from this unique experience takes over. More info on that here:... More

Had arrived in a 26" box truck, worried about taking it down their very steep driveway but we did and it paid off! Great mountain views from balcony room - it was the hottest weather the owner experienced in 13 years and the room was not air conditioned so we went into town and luckily it cooled off by night...
