A quick ski trip to Kicking Horse to catch some pow. I was considering a chain hotel on the highway, but a friend recommended the Home Lodge. The hosts, Lynn and Siggy are fascinating people, and provided a memorable experience. Amazing. I will never stay at a crappy chain hotel again... this place rocks!

We visited Home Lodge during a ski trip to Kicking Horse ski resort. Our host, Lynn, was a joy, making my wife, daughter and me feel immediately relaxed and welcome. The food was lovely, the building beautiful, and the setting spectacular. Would definitely return, and for longer next time.
