Beware. This lodge overlooks a rail yard and you will get no sleep with the slamming together of trains, whistles, bells, etc. all thru the night. Stayed for two nights at this lodge located at the end of 3.5km of a well-maintained gravel-road. One would expect the isolated location in the woods should make for a quiet stay, trains could be heard during the night. The building is very nice, however rooms are not sound-proof. What a delightful place to stay! After a long drive through stunning scenery our group was rewarded with a warm welcome to a beautiful lodge. Relaxing outdoors in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful views was superb, as was being shown how to spot the local eagle over breakfast! Enjoy! more
