A nice place to go for camping. Clean wash rooms that could set a standard for all campgrounds to follow. Waking up in the mountains amongst the mist was like stepping into a beautiful photograph. Would highly recommend it.

We've been coming out here since before the campground opened. Mine were the first butt cheeks in the remotest outhouse (it had articled floor back then, can't comment on now). We started in a small tent, graduated to a larger tent, then a tent trailer, A-frame trailer and now a 24' fully contained trailer. Trina and her staff are amazing... More

This is a great little campground just south of Golden in Nicholson, at the foot of Mount 7, which is the world-famous launching point for hangliders and paragliders, and the landing zone forms a part of this park. Great tent, RV and yurt camping, well-maintained and great service. As ana dded bonus, you can watch the paragliders and hangliders land... More

We fully enjoyed the park. The views are incredible, the staff friendly and helpful. Our space was big enough for a comfortable fire with distance and room for our grill and chairs. The paraglide landing area added a visual interest, and we didn't find the trains to be a bother. The staff had sprayed a couple of days before we... More

Off the beaten track but once you drive past the strange museum ( just look and i'm not wrong!) then right through the gates its stunning!! What views... it's a 360 degree eye fest! The Parking for the RV was in the tree's so gives you good shade and it's so well planned with good entrance and exit arrangements so... More

One of the best campground I have visited in recent times . The campsites are surrounded my Rocky Mountains and the campsite are huge enough to do lots of stuff ! We have two 8 people camps in a single site so just imagine how big was the campsite ! Services in the campground were excelled ! The restrooms were... More

Gravel lots in a marsh, surrounded by mosquitos and staffed by deadbeats. Our ant infested tenting site was $33 for the night, and had garbage in it that had clearly been there for days. The wash house was nice, but the outhouse closest to our site had the wall kicked in, allowing for a wonderful view of people using the... More

We stayed 2 nights here while riding Kicking horse. The Mosquitos are so bad you must stay in your camper Don't try and tent here! They have a very nice wash house with great showers and a pay laundry. If your here I'd just stay in the Golden municipal campground

This is my favorite campsite. The rv camping is really beautiful in the trees. There is a lot of room to take the dogs for walks.. And the hang gliding and paragliding landing zone is right there! It's the only place we'd stay in Golden.
