We stayed here for a wedding. Let me say, that everything that had to do with the wedding was wonderful. The Eagles Nest restaurant was beautiful, excellent food, and a view second to none. The staff up there was pleasant and attentive. For a wedding it was stunning and perfect. But.... Onto accommodations, this was a dissapointment. I booked in... More

We started by checking into the lodge early in the week, excited to be in the mountains spending time together. I'll start by saying nothing was clearly marked and it was slightly confusing as to which lodge you check into. Upon checking in we were greeted by a polite and pleasant young woman who was able to answer most of... More

My family and I drove to the Glacier Mountaineer Lodge and the reception was closed at 8:40 PM. Reception is supposed to close at 9pm. However, they left an envelope with our key cards and info to our room. The room keys did not work. We had to call their emergency number to get a hold of someone to verify.... More

Awesome location. Cleaning every 4 days. The room was dirty. Stayed many places from high end to budget. Never had a place so dirty. Our concerns were promptly addressed the next day. You are kind of on your own here. Don't expect to be waited on. Grocery store closes early but, the town site has everything. It was quiet And... More

While waiting to check in we read how ecowonderful the premises were.Upon entering our suite we slowly discovered the truth! Not a single compact florescent bulb just incandescents and halogen bulbs spewing forth the carbon dioxide . Then there was the tv a crt monster from another era . You could hear the death agonies from the white bears every... More

We usually stay at a hotel along the highway in Golden to break up the trip from Calgary to the Okanagan, but I decided to forgo the sound of highway traffic and head up to Kicking Horse Resort. The check-in process was efficient and informative, the 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our group of 6 (including 4 teenagers). Supper... More

Mouse in toilet, 38 + degrees celsius in the room at night with no window or climate control. Nice room but terrible stay. We woke up In the middle of The night to an extremely hot room. Then my girlfriend woke up later at about 4 o'clock in the morning to a mouse swimming in the toilet which I did... More

My sister, husband and I were looking to split up a long drive to BC over the August long weekend and decided to stay in Golden. As we would only be there for a night and are on a budget we didn't want something much more than $100 - when my sister booked this lodge at that price I assumed... More

Just finished a 5 night stay at the Hotel. Overall we had a great experience, and for the price we paid amazing value for money, it is a lovely place. We had a 1 bedroom suite -equipped with everything you need and a lovely view from balcony. It's a quiet peaceful area, if you are looking for centre of town... More

We stayed for two nights in August. The good... Our suite was quiet. We had good meals at the cafe, Peaks restaurant, and the restaurant at the top of the hill. We enjoyed taking the gondola to the top of the hill where we did a spectacular hike along a mountain ridge. Next time I visit I want to try... More
