I chose this place for three reasons. First reason being that it is within walking distance of everything. Second, it has a kitchen. Third, it's pet friendly. I booked here on my way back from Victoria to Winnipeg. The room was old but clean, the shower and the lock worked, no amenities, pretty basic. It was a walk of three or four minutes to a decent Greek restaurant, and easy access to the highway in the morning. Perfectly perfunctory.

Not bad motel, in funny location facing second hand shop. Stayed over only one night in golden. Ate take out in our motel room. Facilities could use some updating but overall not a bad choice for the cost.

I stayed here for one night as I was passing through Golden. The location is pretty good - close walking distance to a few restaurants. Motel was average. Decent size. Guy at desk was friendly and checking in was easy.
