We stayed at Kicking Horse Kabins from March 12th until March 20th. What an amazing place! We arrived in the dark, and when my husband woke up in the morning his comment was simply "wow"! I had a wonderful time, the hospitality is incredible as is the food. The “Kabin” is perfect, comfy, homey, well equipped, and the bedding is LUSCIOUS. I have recommended this place 4 or 5 times already, and only left 2 days ago! more

Fantastic place. Newly-built late last year. Great location next to the wolf sanctuary. The owners are lovely and welcoming and really go the extra mile to make your stay amazing...we had home-cured bacon and homemade bread and a fabulous 3-course meal cooked by the owner who is a chef. Our time here was simply quite stunning. The kabin looks out over the rocky mountains on one side and the Purcell mountains (i think) on the other. We loved the option of catered accomodation so after a hard day at Kicking Horse Resort (a serious skiers mountain) we came back to tea and cake and later a fabulous evening meal... more
