Very basic, older, budget motel. Customer service is the best part of staying at this motel. The lady who owns it is incredibly kind and friendly and offers great hospitality. She was gracious when I asked to view the room first. I don't mind staying in an outdated or smaller space but cleanliness is very important and this room was... More

Old but clean and cheap. Fridge, stove, microwave and coffee pot (coffee package supplied). To my surprise it was very quiet though it was on a "main drag" (well, a main drag in Merritt) and across from a large sawmill (loved the smell of the freshly cut wood - unexpected bonus). Comfy bed and good water pressure. Most modern device... More

This motel is older on the outside but updated in the rooms. We had a good stocked kitchenette with stove, microwave, and full size fridge. Great bathroom with a deep tub. Room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Despite the fact it was across from 24 hour mill we had a great sleep.

Drove for 7 hours from Westport lower Seattle and with the rain fog and darkness, we decided to pull over. Came here after consulting trip adviser. Yes the room was clean and fixtures looked new, but very basic and simple, but the price was right. I like the curved shower curtain holder that keeps the curtain away from your skin... More

We arrived at night with no booking. The manager was very nice and accommodating. We got a good clean room for the night for a very fair price. We did not need to do much besides sleep and thats what we got to do. We travel from Alberta to Vancouver a lot and sometimes we have to stay at a... More

We set off from Richmond, Vancouver and travelled up through Squamish, Whistler, and intended to stay at Kamloops. The 'Senior Games', there was no accommodation available anywhere on so we drove on to Merrit, not arriving until 7:15 p.m. Found the owner very nice and helpful - and was able to view the room before we took it!

The owner told us the motel will have a flat-screen TV and new renovation when we checked in at 11pm. But we were tired and no energy to chat with them. It was nearly might night, but the stay up to wait for us. It's one of the best thing I could recommend becoz the room equipped with kitchen that... More

This is a U shaped collection of old atco trailers on asphalt. Once the noise of the highway traffic subsided, the noise from the 24 hour sawmill overtook any chance of sleep. The room deodorizer was overwhelmingly strong and obnoxious. It is not just outdated, but has just been let go. This is the old part of Merritt, when the... More
