It is definitely worth driving the few kilometres from Merritt to find this excellent B & B. We stayed in the Western Room which was huge with a fridge & it's own balcony. Just outside the room are tea/coffee making facilities. The animals on the estate were a bonus - children would love them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this... More

We stayed at Running Waters on April 1st and it was delightful for many reasons. First, our hosts including Chance, their dog were very gracious and welcoming. Our room was spotless, large and comfortable with lovely views of theNicola Valley.. We loved the many friendly animals on the ranch and had a chance to feed them in the morning. We... More

This has become another regular overnight stopover for us on the route to Vancouver. Rose makes you feel totally at home. We stayed in the largest suite, it is simply huge, roomy for three on our first stay in 2013 and for four next year. Well appointed and decorated with a cowboy theme all over the house, our suite on... More

You will truly love your experience here. When you walk outside you immediately notice one of the most spectacular views your could ever see. Rose is the hostess and she is extremely kind and accommodating. The facility is beautiful. My room was extremely nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed at Running Waters en route from Vancouver to Calgary. What a shame it was only one night! Would happily have stayed longer. What a delightful place. Only ten km outside Merritt on road to Spences Bridge. House surrounded by small-holding of llamas, donkeys, ponies, chickens etc. Lovely ambiance to the place, a warm welcome by Rose who is... Loved this one night stop on the way to the Okanagan, a welcome change to the faceless motels/hotels on offer. The llamas, goats and sheep make you feel like you are staying at Dr Doolittles. Rose is welcoming and discreet and is one hard-working lady! Bravo for keeping this place spotless and impeccable with all those happy animals!!!

Clean! Huge! Fun! Private! Fantastic experience. Honestly cleaner than a hotel, giant room with huge balcony, friendly animals, very private. Our only regret is that we arrived late at night so didn't get to stay too long. We will definitely stay here again next time we go through Merritt, hopefully for two nights. It is outside of Merritt but def... More

Running Waters is a nice B&B in a very quiet setting. Rose is a very friendly host and we felt at home. The room (we had the Western room) was very nice and clean, the only donwside is the noise of the fridge. We cpuld make as much tea and coffee as we liked. The breakfast was very nice and... More

This place has been built by love......every detail has been attended to. It is also maintained by love.......so obvious by the disposition of the goats (in particular), the donkeys, the llamas, ducks, chickens and ponies. We could not have been made to feel more welcome. Thank you so much Rose for your warmth and patience in explaining the "who is... More

We had a little difficulty finding the B&B at first, having relied on our GPS. We were welcomed by Rose who showed us to our room and gave us a tour of their home. Our bed was comfortable and the breakfast well-cooked and appetizing. There are lots of animals on the property, goats, chickens, llama, donkeys etc, even a rooster... More
