The staff on the front desk and the waitress in their restaurant were among the best . We drove in the mountains from Jasper ( furthest north ) to Nelson and have the greatest pics and memories . Wayne

The staff are fantastic. Always courteous and professional. When I arrive I feel like I am home, that is how comfortable it is. Rooms are always clean and fresh. You can tell the staff take great pride both in the hotel and the restaurant.

Comfortable stay in a clean hotel that was nicely situated for downtown access. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Room was clean, albeit it could have been a bit bigger with a traditional armchair. WiFi was very easy and consistent access.

Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Very well maintained. It exceeded my expectations for a hotel in a smaller community. Right on historic Baker street so an easy walk to all of Nelson's amenities. Restaurant is only so-so, but lots of good food close by. Great place to stay for business or to get away from it all.

Nice hotel and wonderful location in the heart of the historical downtown, Nelson, BC. A very good fish & chips restaurant “The Dock” is walking distance. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and professional. Room was very clean and comfortable. The parking is across the street and there is no walking line on the baker street between... More

A long day on the road, want to stretch out on the bed, turn on the TV, watch some sports, answer a few email and return some calls. No outlet to charge my tablet or phone except at a little desk stuck in the corner looking at a blank wall where I can't see the TV! No problem, plug in... More

Hi Cal. We are really sorry that we did not impress you more. The common outlet that our guests use for charging any of their devices is located on the base of both bedside lamps. That is the easiest accessible outlet in the room without having to plug it in under the desk. Our new High Definition cable package for... More

Nelson is a very interesting city and the Baker Street Inn only made it better with their welcoming staff and lovely rooms. We were gathered for a cousin's 50th birthday party and appreciated that we were able to walk to the different venues where we enjoyed an amazing variety of foods as well as country concert and a reggae dance.... Very nice stay. 1st room had a smell, but the staff moved me to the top floor in a King room. Excellent response. Sunday brunch is the best in town. Quiet, walking distance to almost everywhere. Will be staying again in a couple of months... The king beds are very comfortable. Very clean. The newer TV's are HD LED and... More

Excellent facility and front desk personnel (Diana). Up to date furnishings, fixtures. Good bed, desk for our laptop, nice toiletries, good shower pressure. Several handicap parking spaces (which we needed). Handy to good restaurants.

The hotel is situated at one end of the main street in Nelson, BC. It is walking distance to all the restaurants, shopping and sites in downtown. Very close to groceries, reantal locations and entertainment. The restaurant had the best slamon dish I've had in a long time. The room was quiet, clean and staff very welcoming. Nelson is a...
