I have stayed at this trvelodge previously, hotel has new owners . Some updating has taken place. Satff are curtious and helpfull . Rooms come now wtih microwave and a mini fridge. We stayed here for one night en route from Whistler to Tofino. It did the job but we sensed a stuffy foul smell in our room. Breakfast was complimentary but was very, very basic: worst of our holiday in Canada. Complimentary internet was appreciated.

We would stay here again because it is in the perfect location in Parksville and is dog friendly....we had 2 large dogs and a small dog and they were very welcome.
