I could not believe that woman at the front desk and how amazingly RUDE she was about everything, straight down to the parking spots. I recommend a different hotel unless being treated like complete garbage!!

The furnishings are basic and dated and the units are in need of cosmetic upgrages but they are clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the management and staff go above and beyond to ensure guest comfort. If you're looking for plush duvets and a pillow menu go somewhere else...and pay a lot more. This motel is an ideal choice for the... More

Comfortable (the most comfortable bed and pillows I've had in a hotel) and spotlessly clean suites, well equipped kitchen, great location and amazing staff. My three day stay ended up lasting two weeks and I hate to leave! Management and staff go out of their way to ensure your comfort - the restaurant truly does have the best fish and... More

This hotel is centrally located (not that Port Alberni is that big), and the rooms are large. The rates are among the cheapest in town. The rooms are basically clean but very dated. Rooms come with a fridge and microwave, as well as a window-unit air conditioner. The toilet did not flush very well, and the bolts holding it to... More

Management - 5 stars, convenience factor - 4 *. Cleanliness of room - 4 *. Beds were comfortable, room was a generous size. Fixtures were older, and the unique (and old, not recently replaced) bathroom taps that just turned (water off, turn further, water on, turn again, off etc) were annoying but it was a minor annoyance. Some of the... More

Great price for a large pleasant motel room. Very friendly and helpful owners. Clean, well-organized with good beds.

When i booked my room here i assumed that it was a larger size suite going by the description i got from the man i spoke to on the phone. It in fact was very small. The beds and pillows where super uncomfortable and they had a musty overly used smell so gross.... The bathroom was so dirty and the... More

We do make every effort to present ourselves acuratly over the phone our suites are not large but do accomodate up to 6 people with 2 queen beds in the bedroom and a double hidebed in the living room. The firdges in our non kitchen units are bar... More

This great little find in Port Alberni provided my family and wedding quests with clean, comfortable, affordable apartment style rooms with full kitchen and separate bedrooms. They had to continually deal with our changing plans of arrivals, number of people, smoking and non-smoking wedding quests and they did so with courtesy and smiles. Their housekeeping staff were so supportive. One... More

We had one of our best trips ever! The owners accomodated our family of 8 with very reasonable rates but that was only the start. They gave the best vacation advice we received from anyone on the Island and we had a wonderful time with our childten aged 4-16. The location is central to everything and the rooms are clean...
