“The Cedars is totally old school but clean and comfortable”

Ok, let's get this straight. The decor is 1960's orange, the bathroom window is drafty, and the 'coffee' is pretty basic. This hotel is not so pretty and the amenities are basic. If we had looked at the unit before we checked in we would have never registered. The BC Accommodation Guide said "clean and friendly" and it was neither. It was cramped, dingy and dark with uncomfortable beds and a sliding door on the bathroom which was about 2 feet away from one of the beds! The complimentary coffee was a... More
