We (family of 4) had stayed here for 1 night in the summer. We had rented a log cabin which included bunk beds for the kids. Please note that the cheaper cabins do not include bedding (which their website states). The cabin we originally got had an odor (possibly a wet dog) so we had asked to be re-located to... More

We camped here on the way back from a Banff vacation. The ground were very well kept, there was a lot of place to ride our bikes and we spent hours in the pool. We had a site close to the pool and the office however most of the sites were a failry long walk away. We ate dinner from... More

Agnes and her staff are wonderful! We have never felt so welcomed and like part of the family. The cabins are adorable and clean, breakfast was delicious and the hot springs were refreshing. Absolutely a perfect place to get away and relax.

We have stopped here to camp numerous times over the years just for a night on our way back and forth between Alberta and BC. This past weekend we spent three nights here with a group of people and what an excellent place for a gathering. Some of us camped and some rented cabins and everyone was very happy with... More

This is the third time I have stopped here and all camping experiences were bad. If you are tenting the Blanket Creek Provincial site on the way to Nelson and only 30 minutes from this place has better overflow camping sites than here. Come on- $33 and then they charge $3 for a shower! No water taps nearby so get... More

Our second visit here. The dollhouse log cabins are really unique. Previous reviewers complained about lack of amenities in the cabins - they need to go stay in a hotel as this is very basic and completely different experience. Breakfast included, hot springs included, reasonably priced in a very scenic spot! We'll be back!

Our favourite BC destination. Clean and way beyond well maintained whether camping or cabins. Kids love watching the trains go by, mineral pools largely uncrowded. For over 25 years in a row we've loved to sit in the hot pool and look at the mountains, hold family reunions and just sneak away to camp. Its a family business and their... More

We stayed at Canyon Hot Springs for a night recently. We stayed in one of the pine suites (301) and thought the unit was lovely, very clean. As we were only staying one night we did not really miss having a shower/bath in the room or a television (forced us to talk to each other!). We were a bit afraid... More

It just doesn't compare to Banff Hot Springs - it's much better! A great cabin, plenty of room for our family of 5. Clean, well maintained but basic, just as advertised. If you want TV go somewhere else with all the others. If, however, you are after a basic but safe haven for your family on your trip along the... More

As far as campgrounds and locations go this place is my favourite. My family and I have been here at least once a year every year for the past 25 years. The pools are pretty basic, not too fancy, but the temperature is just right and my skin is always glowing after a swim. The longer I stay the better... More
