Never seen so bad and dirty room in Canada, Insects on the towels and floor. Not recommend to stay . Front desk lady, listening my complains, answered that they already know about this problem. But still keep it for clients. Location is very bad as well. Building is installed just by the curve of the railway track, Noise from a... More

We stayed there a year ago as it was the last room in town due to a vehicle accident, the room was great and clean, but very dated. new bedding would be nice. We decided to try staying again, and I think this will be the last time, our room seemed clean, carpets are old bedding is old beds are... More

Reserved a room here with 2 beds for 1 night. Found the lodging at the end of the street near the main road but it was reasonably quiet. Front desk staff is pleasant and efficient. We got a very large room with 3 beds. I had requested a quiet room and being at the back of the building ensured it... More

I like two things mainly with this motel...the hot tub jets are a good power and the fan in our room which has great white noise and comfortable. What needs improving here: no desk at all to use a laptop etc, a tiny very old school tv can be updated to get into the 2000's, the bed is quite tiny,... More

The Gateway Inn was a basic motel however it is only a 15 minute walk downtown. The price with tax was $113.00. The train does go by a lot however I didn't hear it while sleeping at all. The price included a continental breakfast but chose to go to Tim Horton's around the corner which is only a 10 minute... More

I checked out their website and thought I would try this place out noticed the rooms looked recently renovated clean and modern. The room was small old and had a musty smell. It was a non smoking room but smelled of smoke....this is because the coffee cans outside my room set out by management invited smokers to smoke outside. The... More

Great price. I liked the location. Within walking distance to a Tim Hortons. Beautiful rooms. Really surprised how quiet the room was. I think I may have heard a train passing, but unsure. I had issues with my internet connection, though. I could not get my laptop or tablet to work. Maybe the range to my room was too far?... More

Close to the highway and CP Rail mainline a little noisy. I hope they use the $35.00 they charged me for my dog to buy a vacuum or a new entry mat. Dog left a package, not a garbage can on the property guess it goes in the room can. ;)

Just decided to try this place, as we often spend the night here, It was a nice surprise, very clean, comfortable beds.. The t.v. could of been newer.. It also has a continental breakfast, and is pet friendly. I would also like to mention it is a concrete motel, so very quiet....

The motel itself did not look too bad, just old. On first sight I thought the room looked ok. It had a strong peculiar odour which I thought was some kind of cleanser. Left the window open and went for supper. The odour did not dissipate. It had to be a rotting carpet in the room. The bathroom had long... More
