We came across this motel quite by chance after a very close encounter with another establishment in the area which was absolutely awful. The Gateway Inn was very clean and the room was enormous with all amenities and spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfortable. The owner was very helpful and polite and although a light breakfast was provided... More

The management was extremely helpful in helping me organise emergency transport home so I didn't get to enjoy my full stay. However apart from the stellar service my room was nice, comfortable and much cheaper than the other motels I inquired about in Revelstoke.

For this trip I was travelling with four other adults and 2 children so we stayed in quad room at this inn. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. The main room had two queen beds and also doubled as the lounge and kitchen. Then there were two decent sized bedrooms also with queen beds. Space wise... More

Room was clean, people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. WiFi can be dependent on how close you are to the main office, so choose accordingly. The continental style breakfast was fine, and being included in the room rate made this place a good value.

An older motel but roomy and clean. Room was well equipped and a rag was supplied to be used for cleaning the windows on the car. Not something I have seen before and very much appreciated. A basic Continental breakfast was included in the rental cost. Our two rooms were closest to the train tracks and we did hear trains... More

Where can i start, the internet photos for this place look warm, homely and clean, the breakfast room and the room pictures look lovely, we booked on the internet the day before and arrived looking forward to our stay. We got into the slightly tatty looking reception and glanced to the right at the breakfast area, which was basic and... More

Great little budget minded inn after long week of travel. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. There was a nice charm to the place. The train goes by at night but not a big deal. The back steps were a bit dirty but the room was wonderfully adequate for the price we paid.

One night stay while driving through. Worn, but clean and homey. Gardens with ornamental plants and vegetables. This hotel has a bit of character: I like that they provide a rag for you (recycling old towels) and there's a hand drawing of how to turn on the shower on the wall, and the outside gardens have lovely flowers, and the... We were surprised to find this place as nice as it is. They have worked hard to upgrade the establishment and have succeeded in making it comfortable. The hosts are really nice and informative and breakfast is included in the price. There were trains which I didn't hear once we had closed the door. TV reception is snowy. I would... More

This place was one of the cheaper places in Revelstoke. It was clean, which is something I always check as soon as I get in to my room. It is definitely showing its age, but I have stayed in some crazy bad places in isolated communities, and this place was way nicer. The staff was very nice and gave some... More
