The Swiss Chalet motel is a great choice to take a rest stop between alberta on your way to vancouver. We got the King suite with the Jacuzzi tub. The room was clean and comfortable. We found this motel on the Trip Advisor site and tried it out. I reserved by phone without issue. The motel is located near the train tracks, but we weren't bothered by any noise - we were with a 2 & 5 year old. The room was exceptionally clean, complete with a fridge. Will stay in the Swiss Chalet on next trip to Revelstoke. Older updated motel, very well maintained with comfortable beds and imacculately clean. Even though across from train tracks slept like a baby. Great value for your travel dollar. more

Stayed one night here and it was fine. The hotel is directly across from the train tracks but had no problem sleeping. If you are a light sleeper then you may want to reconsider. The room had a weird smell like of bleach, but we just opened the windows to air it out. Breakfast was basic, nothing fancy but filling.... more

Nice clean modern facility. Nicely decorated and updated. Staff very friendly. Breakfast offered included homemade carrot, pineapple muffins!!!!!! Nicer than top chain hotels!
