3 km south of the center of town, it's surrounded by forest, well away from the train tracks and highway noise. There's a small, warm lake adjoining the campground. Because of the location, I recommend staying here. Much, much nicer than at other places which are beside the highway and trains. The staff were friendly. The toilets clean. Cons: -many... More

Nice place, lake is great for the kids... The only downer was the sites are tight together and the 4 sites with no power suck as we had to listen to gen sets which really brought down the mood of camping..staff didn't seem to concerned of having them shut down.. Of course not, there not camped beside them...

Kids loved it here. The staff is very friendly. Great family atmosphere. The bathrooms were a bit dirty but I loved our stay there. The scenery was breathtaking. The price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this campground to families and can not wait to come back again.

We were suppose to have wifi but did not work for our whole stay. We were in one of "best" spots if you consider a tenter right on your door step the best spot. This campground is just too packed with families and really strange to see it like that. If you have a big trailer or a 5th wheel... More

We stayed for one night only as we can only get the weekends off from work. But we loved every minute there. It is a smaller campground with lots of kids. The facilities are very clean. Mini golf is available - a bit out dated but good enough to have some fun with our 4 year old. The lake was... More

Onceagain a late reservation and they accomodate us. Campground was almost full due to a major accident on TransCan and they close the road for more than 12 hours some peoples went spent the night there. You have to know thete a campground there because it far away from the road with no advertising. Its more a local use campground... More

Williamson Lake (should be dubbed as "Mosquito Lake") is a family-oriented campground, with a waterfront view – the lake is temper and even has some fish. There are fire pits and clean washrooms/showers (free for use). If you are visiting this campground – make sure to bring enough mosquito spray, or you risk being eaten alive. We have over-welcomed our... More

We stayed at this location for six nights in our fifth wheel. To start with, we were put into a site that wasn't long enough and we had to remove our bikes off the back of the rv and back in right against the fence behind us. We had to park out truck beside the RV by driving over tree... More

Williamson's Lake Campground is a beautiful campground situation right on a small, clean lake. We had every intention of camping here for three nights while exploring the Revelstoke area. However when we arrived we discovered our campsite was nothing more than a gravely grassy area right next to the playground (#42) and right at the main entrance. No shade either... More
