My boyfriend and I were traveling Alberta and BC camping on our way, and one of our stop was Williamson Lake campground. It started with a friendly, great phone call reservation. Then we were warmly welcomed by the owners, who showed us around the place (I've camped many places in my life, and I had never had a guided tour... More

Truly amazing site with great staff. So much for families or couples to do: park, swimming/canoeing in the lake, great access to the town (long walk or short drive) and very, very private. The lady even parked my trailer for me! Highly recommend.

Thank you very much! It is always a pleasure to try and help out - but even a nicer pleasure when it's gratefully appreciated. Am so glad that your first trailering experience went well.. More

This small campground was a quiet and tranquil stop for our family RV trip. We used this as our base camp while we explored the area. There is much to do in the area and all the people we met were very friendly including the camp staff. The grounds are situated on a small lake that has a few canoes... More

We have a camper trailer with no bathroom and power is a luxury, so I like this campground to re-charge. We often travel from Manitoba to the West Coast or the other way around, and this is the best campground we have found in the area. The camping spaces are a little tight, but the lake and all the services... More

Site #9 terribly tight to get in - no way can you have a trailer and truck parked on site. Great scenery and swimming- did NOT appreciate the party puke in the bathrooms in the morning - are you kidding??? And there is no free wifi - bathrooms very busy despite the puke. I was grateful for my full service... More

We were in site 9, it was so small, our 22 foot trailer just fit. No privacy, and neighbors sani hose is right on edge of your site and picnic table. Had to park truck half on roadway. Water has awful smell and taste, even for cooking. So bring your own. Bathrooms are quite rundown and sad. On the plus... More

Williamson Lake Campground is a great little gem, hidden just outside the town of Revelstoke. The campsites are neat, tidy and offer good times for RVers and Tenters alike. The lake is easily accessible to all campers and is a great place for a refreshing swim and floating. I found the public/campground washrooms to be under maintained. Often, toilets overflowed... In the interest of all the campers who stay here, respect of the quiet time, (10pm) is stated clearly and emphasized on the brochures, websites, and during the welcoming registration. Non-compliance of this meant that three different families camping during this "party" weekend left, stating noise, obnoxious behavior and language made their experience disappointing. More

We like the location, The facilities have not been upgraded for sometime. The washrooms and showers were not cleaned the 3 days we were there. The management is the problem at this location. If you have a good stay at this location with no issues "Roll the dice " your lucky. Recommend you do not stay here until new management.

Have been staying at Williamson for the last 5 years over the August long weekend. Up until last year, the service was fantastic, Horst and his family were so welcoming and friendly. Last year, new management took over and we were not impressed. Lisa is very rude, has no personal skills at all and has not done any maintenance to... More

We have come to this site for three years in a row. The first year (2013) the management and facilities were decent. During subsequent years, things went seriously downhill. The facilities were poorly kept and it was dirty. Management was terrible, unfriendly, uncooperative and rude. Will not be returning.
