It is hard to find a campground on the #1 in the Rocky Mountains that is not near a road or the railway but you can hear neither at this scenic campground nestled on the shore of the small Williamson Lake. The park is well kept, showers are free and there are firepits at each site. it is well worth... More

Our family based ourselves at the Williamson's Lake Campground for exploring the Revelstoke area for a few days. It was a great location only 4km from the town centre, 3mins to town, no highway or frequent train noise, & a beautiful natural setting of forest, reeds & lily pads. The campground has a small warmer lake with a small sandy... More

What a beautiful camp site. The small lake is within seconds of the camp sites, there were even a few right at the lake. Fantastic play ground for the kids. The showers were no additional charge and they were well kept. I will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to camp in revelstoke.

this was our second time staying at this campground and both times were very enjoyable. the hosts are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area.the lake is small but has a great beach .the lake is also a public beach but most locals are very respectful of the campground guests.the quiet time rule is strictly enforced which makes getting... All the previous reviews are correct. It is a small campground and it can be crowded but we love it anyways. This campground is a familiar and pleasant stop for us almost every year. The lake is small but relatively warm and the water quality has always been okay to swim in. We love swimming to the rocks and water... More

We booked one night at this campground as a stopover on our way out to Vancouver Island. I chose this campground because it's right in town and has a little lake. We booked a reservation well in advance and were at the campsite by 5pm. We arrived to find the campground jammed full of tents and RVs. It's basically a... More

The website make it look awesome, but we were disappointed, being stuck in a tent between two loud RV groups. Kids yelling through the trees at night playing hide and seek, and adults cackling loudly all night as well. Not a great sleep for us. Would have left but had pre-booked and were too tired to keep travelling. My kid... More

I stumbled across the Williamson's Lake Campground website while planning our summer vacation- after checking out the pics I said "What the heck" and booked us in for 2 nights. After spending a couple of days there, I'm surprised I've never heard of it- it's a nice little campground!!!! There is a combination of waterfront tent sites, and treed or... More

My boyfriend and I could only stay for one night as we are on a road trip, but the view was amazing, the owners are so friendly and welcoming, they alone make me want to come back. The campsites are a little close together but there are a fair amount of trees and terrain, so we didn't mind. We will... More

Not a super-high-class campground, but a good, solid 'Chevy'. Clean, well-laid out, good facilities, seemed well-managed. Tent areas are well-shaded and along the shore of a small, lovely lake on soft grass (watch the moon rise over the hills on the are side!). There's a coin laundry, a good playground for younger children, swimming in the lake and free hot... More
