I was skeptical about staying here after reading some very negative and so so reviews of the 3 valley gap Inn and I am glad I was proven wrong. Like most I have passed this hotel many times but never stopped to take a look. We booked one night here after staying at Emerald Lake Lodge, so price wise we... more

I stopped here for the night and the room was clean and quiet. They told me that it was one of the renovated rooms and it looked ok. Be prepared to buy a $10 phone card if you want to make a long distance call as there is no cell phone coverage here and they did not allow me to... more

My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable stay. Our room was very comfortable and had a great view of the courtyard and lake. We plan to return in the summer time with our kids, as we know they'll enjoy the Ghost Town, Gardens &... more

I've driven past this hotel several times throughout my life and always been curious about it. This time my dad and I decided to stay, I always thought it looked kinda mysterious and I was right. This is an eclectic and somewhat dated hotel, but we found it to be clean and enjoyed our night here immensely. The owner/builder passed... more

Well... maybe not 'Terrible' but that's closer than "Okay." The place is kind of a dump. The restaurant food is edible, but that's about all you can say for it. The service was very poor. But the most important part is that the tap water IS NOT SAFE to drink! You shouldn't even brush your teeth with the tap water.... more

Our party of 6, including 2 preschool children spent 3 nights at three valley gap and had a great time. The location is spectacular with gardens, playground and a sandy beach. The rooms are in need of updating but were clean. The dining room also could use some updating but the food was good, prices were fair, and the view of... more

As we pulled up to the place, we thought it looked like a comfortable, modern hotel. We entered the hallway to our room and were bombarded by screaming children, loud TV's and extremely dated and dirty decor. Our room was so yucky that we all kept our shoes on and I immediately removed the ugly old bedspreads. I didn't want... more

we've just spent a night at the Three Valley Gap Motor Inn. It was a one night stop over while we were touring the Rockie Mountains. The view at this location was beautiful, with a waterfall, well layed-out gardens, and pristine waters. An excellent place for lots of photo opportunities. We got a room on the 1st floor which comes... more

Views incredible - I cannot deny. Good shower pressure. But I'm afraid the hotel itself is a dump. The rooms are grubby and unkempt much like the rest of the hotel which is run by a chap who is a bit of a kleptomaniac. The 'Ghost Town' attached to the hotel is his collection of old trains, buildings and all... more

When I travel to Calgary from Vancouver or Victoria, I always stay at Three Valley Gap. Not because of the food but because it is such a beautiful setting, in the middle of the Monashee Mountains,on a lake, 9miles this side of Revelstoke. When you book, ask for a room facing the lake , with a balcony or on the ground... more
