I recently stayed at the Powder Springs hotel even though I vowed never to stay again (had a horrible experience 2 years ago- owner was awful), I was persuaded by my partner (location & price) to give it another go. We stayed at Revelstoke for one night. Powder Springs was the first hotel we saw, and our first impression was not very good. A bit dark, and renovation activity's around the hotel. This is a nice motel. The rooms are dated but clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpfull. I understand that it is under new management. Inprovements are being made. I tried the new pub "The Last Drop" great food and friendly staff. The motel is in a great location, everything is within walking distance of the motel.... more

It's not the Ritz but was just fine. The hot tub is a bit small at prime time. more

My group and I chose not to stay the night as we were all basically appaled at the state of this hotel upon arrival. You get what you pay for. The room was dirty, noisey, small, cold and the smell of weed came right through the wall from the next room. We got no sleep that night. Brutal dive!!!! There's a reason they don't post pics of the rooms. more
