Every so often it's so nice to try something different from the usual cookie cutter hotel chains. This is one of those times. Yes, the place is somewhat outdated but that's part of the charm. It's so neat to walk around the whole huge place encountering an indoor garden, a swimming pool, a games room, a library etc. The rooms... More

We stayed here knowing from others it was outdated but we were assured it was clean and well maintained.... It's not. We wanted a getaway home base...where we could fall into a cozy bed after a day of exploring and get a good nights sleep. The hotel is so pretty from afar and the pictures on their website alrlow an... More

Return visit after 27 years - wow, how it's grown. This is an unique Family run hotel developed by the late owner. The "Heritage Ghost Town" contains passionately restored historical buildings from the surrounding area, filled with collectables of by-gone years plus the Railway Roundhouse, antique auto museum. Entry is half price when you stay at the hotel & it's... More

We stopped here for one night while driving from Vancouver to Banff. The hotel is large but well presented and we had a warm welcome from the staff. The rooms are OK - clean, tidy although not the most modern but nothing wrong with them. The restaurant on site is the only real option for eating and the food was... More

Been coming here since I was a wee lad. When coffee was 5 cents. Stayed in the Chateau a few times now loved each one. Very quite very friendly I recommend everyone stay at least once to try. We will be back. And will be bringing our families to enjoy as well. Bell family keep up the good work !!!!

There are not many original family owned + operated businesses left in this Country. 3 Valley is one of those special pioneer stories from almost 60 years ago. Don't be one of those people who say "I've driven by here a million times". STOP! Learn about some great BC History and one family's dream of becoming self-sustaining. Have lunch, tour... More

Founder, Gordon Bell, grew up in the depression and wanted to ensure his family never experienced the hopelessness he witnessed. So, he purchased land along what was planned to be the Trans Canada Hwy and built a seven room lodge. Today, after a multitude of expansions, the lodge is 200 rooms. The lodge is a huge maze of corridors. There... More

Was driving from Calgary to Vancouver at the start of August. Wanted to do it in 3 days/2 nights. Booked this hotel as it seemed like a 1/3 of the way and was only a little bit beyond Revelstoke and the Glacier National Park. This place was perfect. There is no a/c in any room, but the owner mentioned the... More
