Dirty room, poor customer service from the "general manager" upon our complaints. The food was horrible and cold, took way too long to arrive to our table (1 hr) even though the restaurant was quiet. We will not come back, nor recommend this abomination to any people we know. The owner seemed quite out of place, his efforts to correct... More

We apologize that your stay at Glacier Park Lodge wasn't as rewarding as that which we would like to provide for our guests. Our position is a magnificent one and we are constantly endeavoring to accommodate it with service, comfort and dining facilities. Updating the property is an ongoing process due to its historic origins, however in the meantime we... More

We stayed here on our way to Calgary from Vancouver. The lodge itself is pretty stunning with the nice mountainous backdrop and the vast open space surrounding it. We arrived pretty late and the staff was still there which was a plus. There is a small gift shop in the lobby which had a hearty feel. For the price and... More

We are glad you enjoyed the picturesque nature of our area, and thanks for your feedback! We are constantly working on improving our amenities and service to our customers. Due to the seasonal nature of our staffing this can sometimes be tough, but we always have our guests' comfort in mind. Things are only going to get better, so we... More

This hotel might suffer in some areas, but there is one where it stands above all others: location. I've never stayed at any hotel that had such amazing backcountry skiing access. The hotel is at the top of Rogers Pass and shares a parking lot with the National Park center. For many runs, it is possible to put your ski... More

We are stoked that you enjoy the area as much as we do! It is our goal to be a hub for hiking and adventure enthusiasts and we are constantly upgrading our amenities to accommodate travelers such as yourself. Internet issues are a result of our position out of town, but are intermittent and hopefully don't take the gloss off... More

We stayed there for five nights over the winter. The service people were very nice and really tried to be helpful. The Internet connection was terrible. Even logged in to the lobby network IN the lobby the connection was incredibly slow. Forget accessing any of the networks from the rooms. Room temperatures were variable. One night it was fine, the... More

Hi Sharon, Thanks for your feedback! In response to a few of your concerns, due to our position in Rogers Pass, internet service can often become disrupted or slowed... This unfortunately, is the trade off for being somewhere beautiful, yet remote. I can also confirm that our breakfasts are made each day by our live-in chefs. I am sorry if... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in ROOM 238 the nights of Jan 12, 13 & 14, 2012 and were exposed to bed bugs. My bites didn't show up until Sunday night (the 14th), my boyfriend noticed a few Saturday but initially assumed they were spider bites. We called the GPL and they were actually pretty good about it. They acknowledged... More

Thanks for your feedback! We would like to confirm that the bed bugs issue has been long resolved through rigorous efforts by exterminators. We are perplexed ourselves as to how this issue may have surfaced as we provide constant servicing of our facilities, but in any event, we are disappointed that this may have resulted in a negative experience for... beware! during a two night in Jan 2012 multiple bites, staff disregarded and told me it took bites two weeks to present so it couldn't have been from their hotel. Took them to the room and showed them one of the now dead bugs and the blood smears from bites while I was asleep and they refused to acknowledge it... More

Despite our confusion at this matter surfacing due to our regular servicing of facilities, we have invested greatly in thorough extermination measures to ensure that no further guests will be affected by this issue. We had some rough road conditions on the way back from a backcountry ski trip, so ended up staying at the Glacier Park Lodge. I have a lot of memories of stopping at this lodge on many a road trip, and always thought it was a bit of an odd place, with all the stuffed animals and its strange little... More

Uncomfortable bed, too-hot room, outdated furnishings, tacky gift shop, out-of-order hot tub. The bath tub in our room had a slow leak. Despite the rule against cooking in rooms the hallway reeked of garlic. All in all the place was over-priced and uncomfortable. The only way I'd stay here again is in an emergency. On the positive side, it was... More

Several trails begin from right next to the lodge. The location is fantastic. They also have a working sauna. Rooms are pretty basic but spacious. Internet is really slow but that's good because you must be outdoors when you visit Roger's pass. Restaurant has good breakfast. More
