I guess I'm in the minority, but we would not return. When we came in to our room , I went to use the toilet and it had not been flushed - brown water. I flushed, then noticed a brown spot on the seat. UGH. I wiped it off, but really how could this EVER happen? The motel is also... More

We are terribly sorry to hear about the issue you had with the room. Although it is not an excuse, our housekeeper must have missed cleaning the toilet - how I don't know, as it is inexcuseable to say the least. We would have appreciated knowing the day and room you stayed in so we can address this with the... More

RV 'emergency' passing through Salmon Arm. Local friend suggested Salmon River RV Park. Called & they had one spot. Beggars can't be choosers, I just needed electrical hookup. Friendly & amazing front desk. They have spots that are by the river, amidst trees, & just close together. Washrooms: cleaner than most restaurants! Showers: same. Laundry room: plenty of machines, spotlessly... More

Wonderful place & very nice management ! The only thing bad really is the shower , it's low , unless your short , it's a bit of of a excise to wash long hair ! It's nice & clean inside & out ! The beds were wonderful .

Stayed in Room 1 this time. Lovely new bed you can just melt in after a hard day of touring. Penny and Craig are the best and take good care of you. No noise from other tenants a bit from the street but nothing that would keep you awake. Grounds are well kept and the room was spotless.

We are so glad we "discovered" this place. Very clean both units and grounds. We felt like we had our own "little cabin" somewhere. We did not hear any noises from the highway. We had our dinner right after we came there and breakfast the next morning. The "kitchen" had nice cabinets with dishes and there were stove ,fridge, microwave,toaster... More

I attended my niece's wedding in Salmon Arm,BC and was fortunate enough to book my stay on-line at Salmon River Motel and RV Park. It is a quaint little motel on the west end of town and the owners are very personable. Unfortunately my vehicle broke down shortly after my arrival but Penny and Craig were very accomadating in extending... More

Very clean rooms, with very comfortable beds that seemed new. Looked like new bedding and carpets too. The attention to detail in housekeeping was clear in that the time was set and accurate on both the clock radio and the microwave -- very small thing but something I rarely see in nicer hotels, let alone roadside motels. Obviously someone cares... More

Stayed for a week while checking it out for a retirement location. Did some touring but coming home to a nice bed and relatively quiet area was excellent. We enjoyed cooking our own food and using the BBQ that is supplied. Don't like eating out all the time. Yes there is some noise from the hiway but can get past... More

We stayed one night on July 20, 2013. The lady at the front desk was VERY nice. We arrived 3 hours before check-in and she did't say anything, gave us the key for the room, told us what to see around and how to get there. The room was very clean. The motel is old, but everything was working. Next... More

This little motel was what you would expect for an under $100 motel..... dated bed covers and decor, a little weary on the outside....but it was all-in-all a very comfy and lovely stay! We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room (incredibly clean and fresh smelling, an abundance of clean towels), and to find we had a very... More
