We stayed one night to break the journey between Vancouver Island and Banff. As soon as we drew up we knew things would be bad as the location, immediately off the Transcanada Highway, next to a fast food restaurant and with a terrible PVC covered pool area was not auspicious. Reviews, however, had indicated recent upgrading and OK experiences by... more

This was a one night stopover in early July. About as expected for the price and hotel class. ie. small room, very small bathroom, mattresses poor quality. Be aware that it's motel rather than hotel, with the window in the room at the level of the outdoor hallway. Unless you are an exhibitionist, you need to keep the drapes closed.... more

I must admit that I've never been a big fan of Travelodge hotels. We were on our way from Southern Alberta to Vancouver Island. We booked our room late though and therefore had little choice as it was the August long weekend. We were quoted a rate at just under $200, so I figured the hotel must be better than... more

For a quick stop on the road, this place makes a great stop for under $100 and roomy space with a little fridge to keep things cool. It was clean and just off the highway. Not too noisy and even had a little continental breaky for everyone! more

We loved the large heated pool and the hot tub. The frendly and professional receptionist set the tone for this property when we checked in. The room was surprisingly spacious and clean. It seems that the bathroom was renovated recently and kept nice and clean (you could almost eat off the floor). Beds were so good that I wanted to... more

Good sized room - fridge in room - needed as no milk for coffee/tea. Coffee maker in room, but no kettle for making tea. Breakfast average - continental - not much choice though. Breakfast area poor - in lobby area - one low coffee table and only 5 easy arm chairs for everyone- needs improving. Laundry room & small pool.... more

Room dirty with odor, we had to buy our own deodorisor to take care of a stong cigarette smell in our "non-smoking" room. Security issues with housekeeping staff and our room. Fridge not working. No support from management with complaints. Over-all a very dissappointing stay, one not to be repeated. more

Not very clean (lots of bugs and pickle left on floor from previous guest) and poorly finished (bathroom painted with flat white and randomly splashed everywhere). It basically needs a good reno. more
