We recently arrived at this place at check-in time with a prepaid confirmation just to be told that there had been a management change, and....they were no longer accepting "guests". This was a wonderful place to spend our Honeymoon in 2006, and we were booked to come back for our anniversary in September. Sadly, this afternoon the resort called and let us know that they were closing on September 15th. So sad that such a wonderful inn had to shut down.

The Miraloma is simply excellent! At first, we had trouble locating the Miraloma because it is tucked away in Sidney. We simply called and got directions and found it quickly. Miraloma On the Cove is tucked away on a quiet harbour at the tip of Saanich peninsula, just minutes from Sidney-by-the-sea. The staff is courteous and genuinely interested in making your stay pleasurable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. This was the perfect place to stay on our honeymoon.

Room 303 had excellent views of the bay with a large patio. Hotel was clean, great mattress, great pillows, newer amenities; however it was on a quiet cove and did not have full service.
