I would like to pre-empt this review with the fact that I have stayed at some grungy spots in my time.....saying that, I do not think anything has been as bad as this! Dirty Walls, No Bed, Bathroom disgusting, dog hair everywhere, no AC, smelled like smoke, looked like hell, no pillows, looked nothing like the other rooms nor any... More

My wife and two kids stayed in their two queen beds room for two nights. we've hesitated to stay at first, but when we see the room, we finally decided to give it a try. Pros: -easy acccess to Squamish Chief for hiking; -loved the big bathtub; -Very comfortable bed -quiet at night -beautiful view -quick/easy check-in and check-out -parking... More

After reading some of the reviews we had some hesitation about our stay, but we wanted adventure. Room: We were told we were lucky to get their best room.. and we were. We were pleasantly surprised to see a fridge and microwave. In case you missed the comforts of home, they had a sign posted encouraging you to wash your... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon. The hotel is nice enough, but some things are just a bit off. Good location, (One block away from downtown Squamish), nice rooms, friendly staff and clean though a bit dusty. There is no restaurant in the hotel, so there will be no breakfast given. However, free coffee... More

This event occured on July 5th, 2014 at 7:00pm. My boyfriend and I booked a hotel room directly through the Squamish Budget Inn website, and we received a confirmation email advising us that our booking ($69.00/night for a Queen) was confirmed (they took down our credit card information and everything). Given that we were driving in from Vancouver, we made... More

We booked this hotel through Expedia, on arrival they informed us that they would not honour the booking, despite having rooms available. When we told the staff that we would make a complaint to the booking company about them not honouring the booking, they threatened us and locked the doors. Please do not stay at this hotel if you are... More

This is definitely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. We were told that we were getting a "very nice" non-smoking room. When we got into the room.....what a joke! The room was filthy and smelled bad. I'm sure people had (recently) been smoking in it. The bathroom was disgusting (spider in the bathtub and I couldn't seem to get... More

Our room was filthy. The bathroom had some disgusting stains and an ancient shower curtain - not that we could shower anyways, as there was no hot water in the morning. The front desk service was incredibly rude, charged us incorrectly, gave us a wake-up call we didn't ask for, and offered no apologies.

The only thing budget about this motel is the housekeeping. It could use a good scrubbing from top to bottom. We paid extra for the "kitchenette" because we wanted a fridge. Worst kitchenette ever! It had a sink, microwave and mini-fridge with no freezer. The drawer and cupboard were filthy and contained a bunch of cups, one spoon, and a... More
