I was just there for 5 days of heli-skiing and experienced truly remarkable service and kindness. Simply incredible! Co-owner Jezz was everywhere at all times making the stay wonderful. The staff of Northern Escape was amazing! All aspects of the operation were handled beautifully. Any special request I made was accommodated immediately. I loved it and I'll be back next... More

In addition to the fishing cabins and lodge, the owners have recently added three self-catering apartments that are very convenient for business travelers to the Terrace area, and that compare very favourably to staying in the mediocre local hotels. I ahve been staying in one this week. These apartments are new, clean and very quiet, with full kitchen and comfortable... More

My dad and his friend and I all stayed at pioneer fishing lodge and we had a great time. Our hosts Jezz and Pip were wonderful and catered to our every need. The food was amazing Jezz is a fantastic chef Bacon and eggs and fruit and yogurt for breakfast, Fabulous Three course meals for dinner. The cabins are quite... More

We were here in 2011 as part of a road trip around BC. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay, Jez and Pipp are fantastic hosts and the cabins are top notch. Don't worry if you aren't there for the fishing (we came to mountain bike), the welcome I'm sure is the same and you won't regret staying... More

From our arrival at Terrace airport until our departure 8 days later our every need was taken care of by our hosts Pip and Jezz - nothing was too much trouble for them and we felt we were among friends from the moment we met. There were 3 in the party and we had 2 log cabins. Each comprised of... More

We based our tour of the area from this little gem. We had a delightful log cabin with very comfortable beds. The water is from their licenced well and great to drink and shower in! The main lodge is a separate building where everyone can get together and eat and drink, and the food was really good. Huge portions. We... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pioneer Fishing Lodge for a few days. Jezz and Pip gave me a big welcome, as did their dog and cats, which made me feel right at home. I stayed in my own cabin which had two bedrooms a nice bathroom and a really comfortable bed. At night the stars were captivating... More

From the moment you step on the plane at Vancouver you know you are getting away from it all. Jezz and Pip, the owners of PFL, were at the airport to meet our plane and from then on in we were continually impressed with ther service. Not that they are in your face. They have a wealth of knowledge, are... More

Great location, food and hosts - a great place! Very convenient for the local airport and a gateway to the superb wilderness. You can do as much or as little as you want and the cabins are really snug and cosy - very relaxing. Great local fishing and excellent guides who really know their stuff.
