The Glenwood Motel is located a few kilometers past the Columbia River bridge in Trail. It is between WalMart and downtown. Since our last stay in 2012 the motel has been remodeled. Unfortunately the onsite restaurant has been closed. There is a basic continental breakfast available in the small lobby which did not look appealing to us. The room itself... More

Called to inquire about their pet policy and made a reservation over the phone. We were told the rate would be $104 plus the pet fee of $20. Pretty standard pet fee. When we checked in, the front desk girl was very nice. Our rate showed it was $124 plus the pet fee. We said that was way too expensive,... More

This is a good place to stay. The rooms are big, and the service is friendly. The pool and hot tub were large, clean, and uncrowded. We stayed here while skiing at Red Mountain, as closer accommodations were booked up. It is a relatively short drive to the mountain, and it has everything you need. The continental breakfast is OK,... More

We stayed here for two nights last weekend and found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! To our enjoyment there was an indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center, as well as free breakfast in the morning. Truly a wonderful place to stay and reasonably priced! We will definitely be back... Lovely soft top mattress with immaculate white duvet cover had me the minute I lay down. This older hotel was good value, with an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a hot tub, sauna and gym equipment. The basic room is a bit small but fine for an overnight on the road. Staff are friendly and helpful and the... More

Decent value for the money overall, rooms were clean and well equipped and location was good. The elderly fellow that checked us in when we arrived was very nice, however the girl at the front desk the next morning was extremely rude and unfriendly. Although not a bad hotel for the money, based on that alone I would not stay... More

Just up the hill and kinda out of town a bit, the Glenwood is a very good choice of accommodation. We rented 2 rooms and both were immaculately clean and totally remodeled (not just renovated). Great bedding, mattress, furniture, etc and roomy, and although we didn't use the pool, we saw that it was nice and new looking. We observed... More

The front desk staff at the Glenwood were more than accommodating when I arrived early (10am) for a medical appointment in Trail. I asked if I could leave my vehicle at the motel, and confirmed my reservation for that evening, (I was thinking it would be too early to check in for the night). I asked the earliest I could... We chose this motel because it has a pool and the rooms are inexpensive. It was a pleasant surprise to find the rooms recently renovated and clean and the pool warm. I also used the exercise room, which was clean and pretty well equipped. I only needed the treadmill which would have been nicer to use if it had been... More

Dear Luckas80, Thank you for your nice review of our motel. I’m glad that you were able to use the pool and the gym, as the pool is always a hit with the kids and the hot tub is great for a relaxing soak after a good workout. Also, thank you for your suggestions, I appreciate hearing what our guests... More
