This place is a dump! Dirty,dingy and smelly. Mattresses are long overdue for replacement and the sheets were so thin you could see through them. The carpet was filthy. Air conditioner didn't work properly . What a horific experience. Never again stay there even if it were a free offering. Best Western would be well advised to inspect this facility... more

This hotel is very conveniently located near the Newfoundland ferry terminal. We requested a view of the harbour, and were given a room (without the extra charge for the view, maybe because it's off-season??) that was spacious and comfortable. This hotel is the most convenient to the Newfoundland ferry. Be very sure to request a room that does not face the parking lot. Groups of motorcyclists frequently use this hotel, arise at 3:30 am and run motors in the parking lot for a couple of hours.
