We stayed one night to see the tides ... lucked out as the weather was perfect. The cottage (#3) was a 2 bedroom 1 bath, modern (around 7 years old), and right on the cliff overlooking Burntcoat - directly next to the provincial park / lighthouse. It is only a short walk to the steps leading down to the sea... More

I have travelled all over the world, and the Shangri-La Cottages are at the top of my list! Over-looking the world's highest tides, nestled on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, these cottages are the perfect relaxing getaway. They are beautiful, clean, private and equipped with everything you need. We went Tidal Bore rafting in the morning with River... More

These were the best cottages I have ever stayed in. The view was great , the hosts friendly , and the proximity to burncoat head great .I live 1800 miles away and look foreward to returning . It is worth the drive .

We stayed here for two nights in the middle of our trip of the Maritimes. The cabins are clean, very attractive and kitted out with everything that you need. The linens are really nice, and was happy to see them after a few nights of not-so-nice ones at hotels along the way. We brought groceries with us, but we should... More

We spent 2 nights in one of the three cottages. The cottage was outstanding! Everything was spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable, the towels very soft and thick, and the cottage had everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen, on the gas grill, or over the open fire. We had a private picnic table, fire pit, and two... More

We stopped by to see Burnt Coat head lighthouse and tides and saw the cottages looking so picturesque next door that we just stopped by to enquire. Nancy was gracious and welcoming and the cottages were vacant so we decided to just stop here for the day! The cottages are immaculate, fully equipped, and very pleasant. It's just a quick... More

A wonderful location coupled with wonderful cottages equals an amazing vacation in Nova Scotia. The couple that own and manage the cottages are friendly and processional and offer a great stay. The cottages are spacious, clean and up to date. The setting offers a wonderful view of the Bay of Fundy and a chance to witness the tides in action.... More

We stayed in one of these cottages by chance as we only discovered them a few days before we stayed here. Our plans changed a few times but finally we did end up here and I am so glad we got the opportunity to stay in this wonderful area in one of these fantastic cottages. The owners, Nancy and Blake,... We and our friends booked all three cottages and enjoyed three wonderful nights in July. We've stayed at numerous other cottages all over the province over the years and we all agreed this was one of the best. The location is a bit off the typical tourist path in Nova Scotia, but it is reasonably close to everything and nestled... More

We hadn't heared about this place before. We called and ordered a cottage for the night and it turned to be a great surprise in the best way. Hospitality was generous and magnificent. Rooms were clean and inviting. It felt as if the owners had put their best efforts and intentions into making the place cosy and unforgettable. Warmly recommended!!
