Clean clean! Very well kept and it has everything! After a long day we got into bed, and the bed itself was the most comfortable I've ever slept on, it smelled of fresh laundry powder, the bedding was beautiful! It seems as if they have thought of everything including two electric fireplaces. We would go back again, and can highly recommend... More

These cottages are clean, spacious and perfectly located to watch the remarkable tide at this location. The hosts are accommodating, generous, and helpful. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to a see and experience the tide phenomenon at Bruncoat Head.

My husband and I spent one night here (without the kids!) to celebrate 10 years of marriage. We were blown away by how wonderful and relaxing our stay was. Nancy and Blake were perfect hosts who made us feel right at home. When we first stepped into our cottage we were stunned by how immaculate it was. We have NEVER... More

We stayed one night to see the tides ... lucked out as the weather was perfect. The cottage (#3) was a 2 bedroom 1 bath, modern (around 7 years old), and right on the cliff overlooking Burntcoat - directly next to the provincial park / lighthouse. It is only a short walk to the steps leading down to the sea... More

I have travelled all over the world, and the Shangri-La Cottages are at the top of my list! Over-looking the world's highest tides, nestled on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, these cottages are the perfect relaxing getaway. They are beautiful, clean, private and equipped with everything you need. We went Tidal Bore rafting in the morning with River... More

These were the best cottages I have ever stayed in. The view was great , the hosts friendly , and the proximity to burncoat head great .I live 1800 miles away and look foreward to returning . It is worth the drive .

We stayed here for two nights in the middle of our trip of the Maritimes. The cabins are clean, very attractive and kitted out with everything that you need. The linens are really nice, and was happy to see them after a few nights of not-so-nice ones at hotels along the way. We brought groceries with us, but we should... More

We spent 2 nights in one of the three cottages. The cottage was outstanding! Everything was spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable, the towels very soft and thick, and the cottage had everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen, on the gas grill, or over the open fire. We had a private picnic table, fire pit, and two... More

We stopped by to see Burnt Coat head lighthouse and tides and saw the cottages looking so picturesque next door that we just stopped by to enquire. Nancy was gracious and welcoming and the cottages were vacant so we decided to just stop here for the day! The cottages are immaculate, fully equipped, and very pleasant. It's just a quick... More

A wonderful location coupled with wonderful cottages equals an amazing vacation in Nova Scotia. The couple that own and manage the cottages are friendly and processional and offer a great stay. The cottages are spacious, clean and up to date. The setting offers a wonderful view of the Bay of Fundy and a chance to witness the tides in action.... More
